Hotel rooms and lobby recently remodeled and smells fresh too, accept when you have neighbors smoking right outside the door, I understand hotel cant control what other guests do but extremely annoying that I had ask all 4 of them to smoke across the parking lot. Check in manager very professional and accommodating. Room very large and spacious, with microwave and refrigerator. Only negative was after leaving my cold drinks in the refrigerator hours later when I returned was a hot box, also evening clerk is not the friendliest. Overall great price and would stay again.

This by far is my favorite place to stay in Lithonia. The staff is very pleasant. The housekeeping staff greets you every morning with big smiles and sometimes a few jokes. The managers are so nice and really make you feel welcome to this small quant hidden gem of Lithonia.

Outstanding
Ss1561126Checked in for the graduation ceremony, very close to Emory University, next to the Emory apartment, very convenient. The decoration of the room is relatively new, the surrounding environment is also good, very quiet at night. Restaurant meals are also cost-effective
MMalaika Ball PaigeThis hotel was very clean because it is a new hotel. The amenities were nice. Beautiful picture on tv and a lot of space to store your clothing. However, check in was terrible. The man at the desk was frustrated with checking us in. In the middle of checking my dad and I into our separate rooms, he decided to check in three other people. My dad and I looked at each other in disbelief that he would forget we were standing there after a crazy trip there. I had a flat tire and trying to locate somewhere close to get a tire for my car was difficult. The donut that was put on my car was flat also. So, my dad and I was exhausted by the time we got to the hotel. So, for this man to check in three other people saying we got on his nerves, was so disrespectful. I couldn’t understand the frustration when we had just got there. Maybe he needs a break. I do not know!!!😔
GGuest UserSheriff was so kind to drive me to my classes and pointed out how to get to the Falcons game. He is friendly, kind and always smiling. The front desk, valets, housekeepers, and other staff are also outstanding. It was nice to be greeted upon my returns. It felt a little like home each time. The rooms are immaculate. The location is nice (there is a mall across the street). It was nice to have a home away from home. Well done , everyone and thank you.
GGuest UserWe were only at this hotel 1 day and had multiple issues with a male member of housekeeping. At 9:00 am the hallway was completely blocked by housekeeping carts. Next the same staff member was in the hallway speaking loudly and playing music. The worst encounter with the same staff member was when he our door and proceeded to barge into our room at 12:07 PM. I had arranged a late checkout with the front desk staff, there was a do not disturb sign on our door and my wife and I were trying to take a nap before a long drive home. I would have given the hotel a 2.5 star rating if that was an option. The room was nice, it was clean and the front desk staff were professional. Another issue was two times in our short stay there was someone smoking week by the front door. Not a great place to bring kids.
GGuest UserStayed here in late August. The hotel is fine. It could use a little updating; but, the room was clean and comfortable, the location is great and convenient to spots in and out of the city, the I didn't have any issues with noise or anything else that others have mentioned. The only issue was parking which as others have noted is $6 a night even though (1) it's unusual for a Courtyard that's not in an urban/downtown area to charge for parking and (2) it's unnecessary given how large the parking area is at the hotel. When I checked in, I specifically told the front desk clerk that I was not parking a vehicle, yet the charge still appeared on my final bill. The hotel removed the charge, though there was a little harrumphing about it. Otherwise, everything about the hotel was fine, and it's a bit better than other reviewers have mentioned.
GGuest UserI love the rooms. There is actually room to move around. I also appreciate the friendliness of the staff! They were all very helpful! Especially Meski when I went to eat breakfast. It was really nice to see her face again! She goes out of her way to make everyone feel at ease, and make sure they have everything they need. There were a couple of guys, I wish I had gotten their names. One worked the desk at night, and the other one supplied the breakfast food and kept it filled. He was there last year as well.
GGuest UserDon’t let pictures of the outside fool you! After reading many reviews I took a chance on this place and I’m glad I did! The outside is nothing special but the inside is top tier. The lobby is nice, and the room was excellent! Everything was clean. The shower was updated to a walk in glass shower that looked brand new. The water was hot. There was a refrigerator and when I called the front desk about a microwave they brought one to my room, no problem! The A/C worked perfectly and the beds were comfortable as well as the pillows. Again, clean! Never saw a bug or anything you may be worried about staying in a lower end hotel. The only thing I’d say be prepared for is they require a $100 deposit. I wasn’t aware of that until check in. But you’ll get it back within a few days of checking out.
If you need an affordable, & clean place to stay. This is it.
Oh, and there’s a package store within walking distance for those of us who like an adult beverage to end our day. ;)
CCathyThe place was amazing. The employees were awesome, very friendly and courteous. The only thing I didn’t like was check in time was at 4 o’clock, but it was conveniently located for Stone Mountain and we got an Van service from the Hotel to take us to the laser light show which saved us a lot of time in travel And Eddie was our driver and he was amazing
SShaketaWell I'm still here a week later I love the place the employees great attitude good cable wifi good house keeper she cleans very well I would love to stay here when I come back in town it's a peaceful mind quite place places to eat in walking distance
I wish i would have read reviews prior to booking/staying at this hotel. I chose this hotel because it was really close to the event that i was participating in. I will describe my experience however just to reiterate, my stay included extremely unclean conditions, drug dealers in the parking lot, *********** in the lobby and homeless sleeping in the hallways, no hot water, one towel, and stains on the carpet. This place should honestly be shut down. When i checked into the room, i immediately noticed that there were people loitering outside of the doors, smoking *********, and bothering people as they entered the doors, there was trash all over the parking lot and the general appearance of the hotel was not clean/safe. I continued to think as long as my room was clean/somewhat presentable, it would be ok. When i got to my room, i noticed that the carpet was very stained, one of the lights on the wall had exposed elements (didn't work) and the bathroom door did not have a knob/lock on it. The main door did not close easily either. However, I had been up all night and chose to stay a little while prior to my event. I proceeded to take a shower....the water was barely luke warm and there was only one towel. The shower curtain was too short and got water all over the floor. Still...not the worst. I left for my event and returned at 1 am. There were still lots of people loitering outside, harassing the guests. I went up to the 4th floor and was immediately approached by a homeless person asking for money. I did not feel safe. I had to give him money to be able to get to my room. When i went down the hall, there were two metal doors that led to my hall. My key would not unlock them, therefore i had to go back to the elevator where the homeless person was camped. He again approached me and proceeded to tell me how people were not safe in this hotel....but i would be ok bc i gave him money. I headed to the front desk (now 130 am) to ask about the deactivated key. When walking down the hall, there were lots of loud hollering coming from the rooms. One of the rooms specifically had the voice of a man that was preaching (screaming). I was honestly scared to be there. When i got to the front desk, there was a security officer seated behind the desk clerk however she never got up while i told them about the homeless man panhandling and sleeping in the hallway. During out conversation, a ********** walked through the lobby. Still they did not appear surprised. I had made a reservation for two nights, however advised that i would be leaving as soon as it was light outside and cancelled the second night. Overall, worst place that i have ever stayed. In reading other reviews, i noticed that reviews are responded to by hotel staff ”apologizing for not meeting expectations.” This reply in itself is a joke since reviews are repeated over and over and nothing changes. Please do not reply if this is all that is offered. I will not stay at this location or an
