Hotels Near Scrambling Adventures & Outdoors in Dehradun

Found through google map, saw the good rating, and then i clicked on the makemytrip link shown there. Found similar ratings of this hotel in there, and decided to book it. Sealed the booking at a total price of inr 2300, on friday 15th march 2024. My stay was up to the expectations. Neat and modern room setup, and polite staff. Breakfast, too, was good, and cheap. Rooms have the valley view of the dehradun, and also that of the mussoorie peaks.

We booked 2 Super Deluxe rooms based on info available online, interaction with resort management and reviews on TripAdvisor but the resort didn't meet our expectations. Rooms are very basic with double bed, side tables and a mirror without baggage rack, no dressing table, no chairs. Few old/damaged chairs placed in balcony. Bathroom in room no 301 had peculiar/bad smell like from sewer line, bathroom in 302 is too small, not as shown in pics. Air freshener spray didn't improve the smell which required better solution. Hot water insufficient as geyser is 20/25L in 301 and 15L in 302. Imagine getting hot water initially which becomes cold after you are halfway in shower. Very bad experience in the shower for my wife. No hand/face napkins provided. Hygiene poor in rooms, restaurant. Breakfast was average, decent taste but menu and service require improvement. No fresh fruits, limited breakfast menu, average tea, juices. Rooh afza was served on one day, juice, cold coffee on other days. Menu for lunch, dinner has many items but one can't be sure about fresh ingredients as resort occupancy was low, hardly any guests in the restaurant. Quite expensive for the quality and service. Rooms had TV service but IPL channel was not available, provided next day. TV service stopped for a day in 302 as it could not be charged. Hotel set up requires more professional management. Wifi signal was very weak even close to source at the reception. Overall average experience with the facilities and location which is quite far from city. Not worth the room charges and as claimed. Our rating is 1* for the quality of rooms and service or atmost 2* for the view of valley. Shall not recommend to anyone.

Rooms and bathroom were clean and hygiene, also they give complementary water bottles plus tea and coffee in deluxe room. Food is also very tasty and good quality.

It is the best hotel in Dehradun, This is a 4-day stay, and I liked the international cuisine offered in the restaurant with a wonderful forest view. The staff service was very good, and the room was clean and luxurious. They also provide laundry and parking facilities. Overall, a great experience, and I would like to refer my friends also.

Property is basic , if you are looking to stay within nature . The food is the best part of the property . Some renovation work was on in the premises once that gets completed am guessing it will be even better . The staff is very good and helpful . Tents are clean basic and comfortable . My bathroom had many issues , it was clean but the exhaust didn't work and the jet leaked . Pool is big and they say it has spring water coming in , i had a frog almost jumping on me as soon as i entered so i didn't venture into the pool for rest of my stay . But one major thing i would like to point out to the management of the resort , that before you rent out the tents please see the kind of crowd you are mixing , we were families with kids staying there and at the same time they rented it out to a bunch of uncivilised guys whose only objective was to drink play loud music in common areas and disturb the entire surroundings . Our first day of stay was good and peaceful but the second day was ruined because of jerks who came to stay in the rest of the cottages . Kids couldn't swim with these guys covering the entire pool drinking in it . Played loud music till 3 in the night using crass language. So when you book pls keep this in mind that there are no regulations for music or drinking in common areas of property , and if you end up with such a horrible group in other tents then your vacation is ruined for sure . Special mention to satyender who was very helpful patient and took very good care of all our requests .

The location is 25 kms from main city of dehradun. The roads are not good and the road just close to the property is very steep for small cars to drive. Now coming to the property, if you are looking for a stay amid-st nature and serene beauty, then this place is highly recommended. The scenic picturesque of the resort and the nearby surroundings are just mind blowing. The food is top notch though complimentary breakfast options are limited. The staff are very cordial and supportive. They are always available 24x7. There are a lot of open spaces for outdoor activities. Sufficient car parking available and pets are also allowed. Many interesting activites are arranged by the management and it's worth appreciating. Overall a pleasant experience and a must try for a change.

I travel to Doon every week for business reasons, this time I booked this hotel & it comes as a worst decision of my life. Staff is rude AF and basic things like “lift” not working. They offer breakfast where they serve “Aloo sabzi and puri” where puri is full of oil and in the name of bread toast they serve cold toasted bread with local butter and for Jam you have to ask them 3-4 times. I ask for omelette and they give me a look like I ask for there property papers. Very bad experience and condition of room is pretty bad as they use dirty linens. In washroom exhaust was not working. I would love to rate them negative but unfortunately I don’t have this option.
