We will not be back! We booked a balcony suite and there was no balcony just some chairs next to the parking lot - there were dirty towels hanging on the door in the bathroom-rug was filthy-tub had black scum on it. For the price of the room we were very disappointed.

We loved our stay at this hotel. A bit far from Deawood, but they have a shuttle service although I've never used it. Very comfortable, with an excellent restaurant and a great ****** if you want to try your luck. I would definitely stay at this hotel again if I ever return to Deadwood!

Rude staff.asked if they had rooms available..lady said yes..told them I'd like to switch rooms as mine was unacceptable..she told me they couldn't do that..ounce booked no changes can be made..the food was horrible..the host and her friend ignored the several people waiting to be seated to busy chatting with each other till 1 guy spoke up..waited over an 20 minutes to get waited on and 45 minutes to get cold food in a place that was maybe half full at best..I would highly recommend staying anywhere but the lodge unless you like being treated like garbage..

We had a great double queen room. Spacious and cleaning service every day (don't get that much anymore!). Ample parking and the trolley service to downtown was priceless (actually $2 per person each way, but nowadays, that is priceless!!!). We enjoyed the cocktails and food at Oggie's. Service and people were friendly. We decided to extend our stay so I booked again online and went to the desk to see if we could stay in the same room. The front desk worker was gracious and just checked us out and checked us in, under the same room. Price was a bit spendy during the Sturgis Rally, but it sure beat having to camp! Would not hesitate to stay here over and over!

We spent three nights while attending an American Legion Conference. Encountered a room mixup at check-in, but Jamie made sure we were taken care of and she did a great job! The hotel rooms all seem to be spacious, clean, and comfortable. The restaurant and bar both serve excellent meals. The banquet staff were quick and friendly. The meal served in our banquet had raving reviews from friends of mine. There is no doubt we will be back. Travel safe…

The hotel offers excellent food and drink choices. The staff is amazing. Transportation to downtown via Trolley is appreciated. The hotel is spotlessly clean. Our room was huge and had an awesome visiting area with a couch and chair where we entertained family before dinner. The food was fantastic in their restaurant. The wait staff were attentive and fast. Thanks for the memories.

Overall the staff is pretty friendly and the rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. When arriving in our room there could have been some more attention to cleaning and when brought up to staff they did nothing about it. Definitely need to learn how to make sure all the rooms are clean and don’t have leftover socks and trash on the floor.

Unsure how other hotels deal with rowdy wedding guests but my co-workers and I were on the 3rd floor for a convention stay. Was woken repeatedly but women in next room from 9pm - 12:45am. Needless to say I hope I never have to encounter another trip like this having to get up at 6:30am.
