The first time I came to Datong for a business trip, the hotel's environment was very good and clean. The front desk service was particularly warm and attentive, prompting that drinking water was needed, and the printing service could assist at any time. The quality of breakfast is also good. The rest is very quiet at night, and there is no need to turn on the air conditioner in summer, the room is fresh, very nice, Manager Yang praises, very emotional and very enthusiastic!

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights while exploring Datong and surrounding attractions. The location was perfect for us - nestled between both major train stations, a short walk to the old city, and conveniently very close to the bus station to the Hanging Monastry. The staff were very polite and helpful, some could speak some English. We were given various complimentary gifts and desserts during our stay. We loved the free tea (of various varieties) in the lobby! The room was a little old but clean, comfortable and quiet. I guess the only complaint is the elevator - they only have two but about 14 floors and it was utter chaos trying to move about in the morning when everyone wants to check out. Small issue though.

It cost 1,488 yuan to live in a Hampton by Hilton. There was almost no soundproofing. The sound of playing cards next door was loud in the middle of the night. The air conditioner kept showing d5 and not starting. In short, the experience was very different at this price. The only advantage may be that it is new.

We enjoyed our three nights stay in this hotel. Quiet and clean except for some not so pleasant smell from the bathroom. The staff are very friendly, helpful and responsive. This includes the free pickup transport driver, the front desk staff and the janitors as well. The breakfast provided by the hotel was so delicious and nutritious, too. We enjoyed the three mornings breakfast with different menu for three consecutive days. The chef and his wife were also very cheerful to see us enjoy their cooking. 👍👍👍👍👍 This hotel is located near to Datong South Railway Station. If you are using the public bus, there are five buses passing through :#68,#66,#61,#31,#14. Bus #68 & #66 also go to the city. The traveling time from the hotel to the city by public bus is about ½ an hour, ticket price is 2 Yuan each. It's only 20mins by taxi, 15-20 Yuan. There are also some eating shops nearby...

I am from Malaysia, totally obsessed with this place and location, the person in charge, the lady explained to us the story and the history of this 2000 years old building Old Pipa ,I know is the old building with historic but didn't know the much story behind until I Google it, very appreciated that we still able to enjoy such a beautiful and well maintained room and building . The room come with a/c,hot shower smart toilet bowl, slipper and toothbrush and kettle. Breakfast is good. Love it. Hope people that come to stay here spent some time on the architectural and antiques that display in the duilding. Will definitely introduce to my friends and family if they visit 山西。

When I came to Shanxi to check in Black Myth Wukong, I was shocked by the hotel prices in Datong, the first stop. The express hotels that cost 100 or 200 yuan on weekdays doubled to more than 1,000 yuan on holidays. In comparison, the price of 600 or 700 yuan in this Renyi Inn is a breath of fresh air. After staying in the inn, what surprised me even more was the layout of the public area of ​​the inn. I could feel that the boss and his wife were people with taste. The boss raised 2 peacocks, several parrots, squirrels, and goldfish. The children had a lot of fun in the inn. The location is just opposite the Huayan Temple and the popular restaurant Fenglin Pavilion. It is very convenient to stay here and visit the ancient city of Datong. The boss will also help you arrange parking properly. A very pleasant stay. I strongly recommend the view room, where you can see the street view of the ancient city and the Huayan Temple.

When we arrived we were given the wrong room in B tower with single beds, we had to go back downstairs and show the booking again to request the correct double room in A tower. The rooms and amenities are old, and the fridge is broken. I called reception who told me to bring any items I want to cool down to the reception and use their fridge, when I asked if we can swap the broken fridge for a working fridge, they said all of the fridges are like this. They won't admit the fridges are all broken, but all of the fridges in the hotel are warm and won't make your food / beverages cold. The hotel is in dire need of an upgrade, and they need to replace the fridges.
