Taking students to compete in the Shanxi competition, there were more than ten boys. The hotel was very considerate. In order to facilitate our competition, they even gave us the use of the restaurant. I fully supported it. The hotel has complete facilities and is very clean. The environment is very elegant, the decoration is modern, the whole house is smart, and the reception at the front desk is very warm. I like Datong so much. I wish the boss a prosperous business and great wealth.

It cost 1,488 yuan to live in a Hampton by Hilton. There was almost no soundproofing. The sound of playing cards next door was loud in the middle of the night. The air conditioner kept showing d5 and not starting. In short, the experience was very different at this price. The only advantage may be that it is new.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights while exploring Datong and surrounding attractions. The location was perfect for us - nestled between both major train stations, a short walk to the old city, and conveniently very close to the bus station to the Hanging Monastry. The staff were very polite and helpful, some could speak some English. We were given various complimentary gifts and desserts during our stay. We loved the free tea (of various varieties) in the lobby! The room was a little old but clean, comfortable and quiet. I guess the only complaint is the elevator - they only have two but about 14 floors and it was utter chaos trying to move about in the morning when everyone wants to check out. Small issue though.

Exceptional. The staff is just excellent. The room was just great. Unfortunately, we got a room that has no view of the old city but anyway. Very positive memory about staying in that hotel, could easily recommend it to anyone.

It should be said that you still have to stay in a homestay to feel more when visiting the ancient city. This homestay is very cost-effective. The facilities are very new, the design is very nice, it is a light luxury petty bourgeoisie style, clean, quiet, I like it very much. Then there is the service, which I personally feel is not bad. The store owner kindly informed us of parking and precautions in advance, and maintained great patience and enthusiasm for our series of questions when checking in. The recommended tour and food guides are very practical. After a long walk, there is basically no thunder, which is great. I read the comments before booking. Some comments said that it feels far from the center of the ancient city. I think it’s okay. It’s very suitable for citywalk. After seeing the noisy ancient city, strolling back to the quiet courtyard, it feels like traveling through a period of time and feeling a different Datong Ancient City. It’s quite interesting. After a quick tour, I found that Datong is really a good place and I will come again.

When I came to Shanxi to check in Black Myth Wukong, I was shocked by the hotel prices in Datong, the first stop. The express hotels that cost 100 or 200 yuan on weekdays doubled to more than 1,000 yuan on holidays. In comparison, the price of 600 or 700 yuan in this Renyi Inn is a breath of fresh air. After staying in the inn, what surprised me even more was the layout of the public area of ​​the inn. I could feel that the boss and his wife were people with taste. The boss raised 2 peacocks, several parrots, squirrels, and goldfish. The children had a lot of fun in the inn. The location is just opposite the Huayan Temple and the popular restaurant Fenglin Pavilion. It is very convenient to stay here and visit the ancient city of Datong. The boss will also help you arrange parking properly. A very pleasant stay. I strongly recommend the view room, where you can see the street view of the ancient city and the Huayan Temple.

I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough! This hotel was beautiful and very convenient, but more than that, the service was absolutely exceptional. My family and I had a wonderful time here, in no small part thanks to the hospitality of the manager and all staff, including a surprise birthday cake and many excellent recommendations, as well as help organising a driver.

When we arrived we were given the wrong room in B tower with single beds, we had to go back downstairs and show the booking again to request the correct double room in A tower. The rooms and amenities are old, and the fridge is broken. I called reception who told me to bring any items I want to cool down to the reception and use their fridge, when I asked if we can swap the broken fridge for a working fridge, they said all of the fridges are like this. They won't admit the fridges are all broken, but all of the fridges in the hotel are warm and won't make your food / beverages cold. The hotel is in dire need of an upgrade, and they need to replace the fridges.
