Our stay at Barsan Hotel was an absolute nightmare, and I strongly advise anyone—especially families—to avoid this place at all costs. First, the staff was completely unresponsive to any of our requests. We had asked them to book a larger vehicle, specifically an Ertiga, for our airport drop-off, but they sent a much smaller car. When we asked for help in arranging an alternate, they offered no assistance. To make matters worse, they charged us the same price they had committed for the bigger car. We were forced to squeeze all our luggage into the small vehicle, running extremely late for our flight. What followed was even more shocking. The manager, who had been unavailable at the reception when we needed assistance, suddenly showed up in another vehicle and stopped our cab. He rudely informed us that he would not allow us to leave, even if it meant we would miss our flight, unless we paid the full fare for the larger Ertiga on the spot. Despite us explaining that we were already running late and promising to settle the full amount upon reaching the airport, he refused to budge. We were stuck until we paid, adding more stress to an already tense situation. We barely made it to the airport and had to beg the staff to reopen check-in for my family. The manager’s hostile attitude and the lack of basic service from the hotel staff ruined our trip. No one should have to go through such an ordeal, and I strongly recommend avoiding Barsan Hotel if you value peace of mind, respect, and even the most minimal level of hospitality.
