Golden Tulip Dar City Center
4.3/552 Reviews
The staff were very pleasant, helpful and always doing their best to make the guests comfortable. The rooms were very cozy and clean, with working TV, mini fridge and aircon. The toilets were very clean and sanitized and towels also smelled like they have been washed well. I liked that the hotel was in the middle of the city with close access to a variety of important places, restaurants and shopping. What i didn't like though was that there was a lot of noise around my room as cleaning staff were busy cleaning other rooms and making lots of noises and banging doors. Also i was in a non smoking room and i could smell smoke coming from other rooms. I asked for reception to change my room, which they did.
Urban Rose Hotel & Apartments

Urban Rose welcomes guests with a cool glass of juice and a warm smile by the crew. Very welcoming and easy going. The rooms are clean and spacious, beds comfortable and wifi works very well. The complementary breakfast buffet has Indian and Western food of high quality and the service staff is welcoming. Safety is provided by security staff, and even at night the area is totally safe. Street cooking happens just at the doorstep, do not miss it. It is a 3 minutes walk to the DART Station Kivukoni from where the central bus station (north-west) and the Kivukoni ferry (south-east) are easily reachable.

Facilities: relatively old Hygiene: It is more like an ordinary old-fashioned hotel in China, but overall it is clean and the balcony is convenient. Environment: Quiet, Muslim owner, no alcohol in the hotel As long as the room looks at the sea, everything is fine! The swimming pool is open to the public and there are many people! There is not much to eat for breakfast, but you can enjoy the view. You can go drink coffee and enjoy the view! Service: Slow, but it can be solved!
Hyatt Regency Dar Es Salaam

A high-end hotel with a high-end atmosphere. The garden in front of the gate is very large, and the climate is pleasant this season, so you can take a walk in the garden. The restaurant's meals are unique, and you can choose food suitable for Chinese people.

It‘s a fairly new hotel and part of Marriott Bonvoy. I enjoyed to stay there a lot, the staff is very friendly and attentive. The breakfast buffet is nice and with various options. The pool has a nice size, however lacking a view. Talking about view, some rooms have nice sea view. Others have pool view but you also see the green landscape which is nice too. The rooms are pretty big, kind of small TV though, but they feel very comfortable and the bed is great too. Also USB and an international power plug at the night stand, which still a lot of other hotels don‘t have. Rooms are cleaned very well. The gym is very basic, only machines for cardio and a few weights. Ate dinner at the restaurant several times and always got good food. There is an area called Slipway just 5 walking minutes away, that also provides great food options and a bit of nightlife.

When I arrived, I waited for an hour to check in. I said that the check-in time was two o'clock, and the check-out time was 10 o'clock. I was a little surprised, but then the twin bed gave a free upgrade to the double room. Breakfast like hot milk, fried eggs on the spot. There are a few mosquitoes living now, and it’s especially fast to catch. The facilities are a bit historyd, the water is a bit blocked, and there are fewer TV shows. Room cleaning is more timely. The waiter is very good. How is the dinner so slow, but you can read the phone to write a review, it seems that this is the rhythm, the surrounding streets are neat and feel safer. The mosque outside the window broadcasts several times a day. At five o'clock, someone will be woken up. Fortunately, I can't hear it.
