We also loved the resort’s eco‑conscious values and their participation in Pack for a Purpose, which donates school supplies to local children. "Wonderful island atop the Belize barrier reef with authentic Belizean feel. Great staff and food. Very laid back and relaxing. If you’re looking for a huge crazy busy resort with bars…..this is not for you. BUT if you want to experience the beauty and magnificence of a small Belize island ,with all the modern conveniences, this is for you. This was our second stay and we’re already planning a third. Love this place. "

"I was only there one night so did not get to enjoy the. Chocolate making or the super awesome natural swimming pool. Breakfast was great, if you don’t mind foregoing meat. Same I assume for dinner but I did not have dinner there. Rooms are very nice - especially the shower! And I meant to ask where that comforter is from it was like a cloud."

"I booked a cabaña as a birthday treat and I was highly pleased with the experience. The location was easily accessible yet private, safe, and very comfortable. I truly appreciated the warm, cozy atmosphere which had the comforts of home in a small but suitable space. Mariel ensured the room was clean and quite welcoming for the birthday celebration. We got value for money, but the experience was priceless. I would highly recommend this location to visitors and look forward to staying there again. An added bonus was the availability of massage services which was icing on the cake for this occasion as well as the awesome view of the Caribbean Sea."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10 Stars if I Could — An Anniversary We Will Never Forget My wife and I stayed at Thatch Caye to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary, and I am struggling to find words that do it justice. This place exceeded every expectation we had, and that is entirely because of the people who work there. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with one of the most genuine, heartfelt greetings I have ever experienced at any resort, anywhere. You could immediately feel how much the staff cares — not just about the guests, but about the island and each other. That energy never let up for a single moment of our stay. Happy hour at the Starfish Bar was an instant highlight — great food (the wings and queso are not to be missed), but even better company from the bar staff who treated us like family from the first conversation. The Coco Lounge staff brought the same energy after dinner — hardworking, hilarious, and genuinely caring. Karaoke has never been so fun. The accommodations were beautiful. Our Barracuda Bungalow was spotless, the AC kept things perfectly cool, and it felt inviting and private all at once. The food is simply unbelievable. Every single meal was exceptional, but our anniversary romantic dinner was one of the most delicious meals I have had all year. The kitchen team takes real pride in what they put on the plate and it shows. The service throughout was unlike anything we have ever experienced. Staff brought drinks out to us on our floats, explained the local wildlife, carried our bags without us even asking, and remembered the small things that made the difference between a good trip and a perfect one. One team member in particular stood out as the heart and soul of the entire resort. Her kindness, professionalism, and genuine warmth made our anniversary dinner perfect and kept the whole group in great spirits all week. An inviting smile and laugh that you simply cannot help but be pulled into. My wife and I did not just fall in love with the island — we fell in love with the people who make it what it is. We will be back, and we will be telling everyone we know that Thatch Caye is an absolute must."

"Our entire experience from the first reply to our initial contact to Sattva Land to when we left the property was excellent. Under Sam's thoughtful direction, we planned our own personalized mini- retreat experience. Sattva Land is a treat for all of the senses. The entire staff is warm and welcoming. The accommodations and grounds are incredibly beautiful. The beautiful, natural flower arrangements placed all around the rooms and property bring moments of delight. The property also has beautiful, original artwork throughout. The natural pool felt beyond incredible. While I was in the pool one morning, a toucan flew over me. The pool area is wonderful. We enjoyed the food, smoothies and sweets craftily created by the always pleasant and accommodating kitchen staff. Our shower was fully enclosed yet had the feeling of being outdoors. The house keeping staff kept our place tidy for us! Dragon Chocolate is available at Sattva Land and I highly recommend you enjoy some daily while there and bring some back home to savor and carry you back mentally to Sattva Land. We experienced incredible, personalized services pre-planned with Sam. We stayed from Friday until Tuesday. Whether it is for a night or a longer period of time, do all of your senses a favor and book a stay at this unique oasis in Belize! If I could give 10 stars to Sattva Land, I would."
