Super 8 by Wyndham Dalton

We were traveling and need a stop for the night, It was late since we were badly delayed starting our trip that day. The Room was very poorly maintained taps were difficult to work and the door to the bathroom had a hole in it and the bottom of the door looked like a racoon or some other wild animal was trying to escape. All this for a cost that was significantly more expensive than any other properties we stayed during our trip.

Cockroaches in me and my colleagues room. There was also an intense smell of Mold. So much that when I got home, everything in my suit case reeked of mold. I would NEVER book this hotel again. Very disappointing

Checked into the hotel. Accidentally left my phone at the front desk while checking in. Pulled around and unloaded. Walked back to the front office to grab my phone after realizing I left out up there. Staff said the phone was not there. Went back to my room and ran location services to track my phone. Showed it in the front of the building. Went back and they still denied the phone being there

Cleanliness of property was unkept and dirty from arrival. Shopping carts in walkways, dim or lights burned out in walkway and stairwell. Upon room entrance, there were holes in linens and shower curtain. Cigarette burns on toilet and shower. Cockroaches by sink Garbage can. TV sound did not work.

Toilet was clogged, sink broken, furniture stained and filthy, Front office promised to send maintenance and failed to. dirt on floor and surfaces... we had driven 12 hours and was exhausted or we would have pulled out...This place looks like a trap house and I have to say Buyer Beware.....

I questioned what was on the bed spread. It was a body fluid. Pictures of this. And other nasty things. Went to dinner came back tv did not work and neither did the internet password. I went to office the second time. I said the the place was poop. Used other words. Went back to room husband fixed tv and I got the internet password. Wrote wrong. Police were called and came to door. Told me I cursed girl out. Told cop what I said he laughed. Said she needed to get thicker skin and this has happened a lot at this hotel. I gave key for door and had police officer to check room since she told them we were loud and destroying property. Got the police report.

Floor had rotten wood that caused a hole in the floor that I tripped over in the room. The pool looks like it hasn't been opened or maintained for a very long time. The check in younger female wasn't helpful and actually rude. Free breakfast was a joke when it consists of juice, yogurt, coffee and nutrigrain bars. Don't advertise it as breakfast but as a snack. Was not happy with my stay. Would not recommend this hotel or any Super 8 in the future.

This hotel stay was my last stay in any Super 8. Possibly the worst room I have stayed in. The shower was gross, the room smelled like a meth lab, and there had been toilet paper that had been wetted, stuffed into the crack around the door and allowed to dry, some of which remained. Minor issue with flying and crawling insects as well.

We stopped here while traveling home to Florida. We didn't know where we were going to stop so the reservation was made later in the afternoon. I requested first floor accommodations - did not get them. My husband and I both have bad knees and dragging a suitcase up stairs is EXTREMELY difficult and painful! The room was small and had no "easy" chair, but only a small kitchen-like table with two hard chairs. As my husband is a big man, this was very uncomfortable for him. In future travels, we will do our best to avoid this hotel, but, if nothing else is available in that area, we would stay there ... just not my first choice.
