Hotels Near The Galleria in Dalian

This is an honest review that is not meant to dissuade anyone but to offer a thorough unbiased review. My opinion of New World before my stay was that it was a 5 star hotel, it certainly wasn't horrible, but after my stay and comparing to other Dalian hotels in its league that I've stayed in, think it doesn't fit the bill for a 5 star hotel. I can't complain about the service, Check in was swift and we got a free room upgrade and spa coupons, but the hotel room carpet was stained, there was dust in some places and the furniture and room amenities are aging, slightly dated and need to be improved (I didn't feel the need to zoom in on those issues so the pictures wont reflect this) . I loved that there were lovely art pieces throughtout the hotel and the fitness centre was top notch especially the heated pool. The breakfast buffet had fewer options than expected for a hotel of that standard but it was honestly delicious and satisfactory, they had both Chinese and Western dishes, fruit and cereal. The waitresses from Guo restaurant had the best service they went out of their way to make our dinner pleasant. The most disconcerting issue I had with New World was that the room deposit refund took longer than I've ever experienced, I found it highly unusual and somewhat disappointing because I've stayed in a lot of 5 star hotels and usually the refund is instant but they told us it would take up to 3 days. Maybe this is standard practice for them but it made no sense to me and I've never had to wait that long. In any case surely it doesn't take 3 days to check a room!

It's my first time staying at Furama Hotel. It's luxurious and classy, ​​with rich breakfast. Especially the supervisor Cao Hongyan, waiter Song Yi and a temporary male waiter are all warm and thoughtful. Thank you very much🙏

The hotel is 10-15mins walk from the subway station, close to restaurants and there is a mall next to the hotel.

I still love and hate this hotel after staying for one night and decided to change rooms! The front desk and the room are both on the 54th floor of a hodgepodge building. Three of the six elevators are closed, and the other two only reach 48. There is only one elevator that can be reached and it takes a long time to wait! There is no air conditioning in the elevator, so it is uncomfortable when it is full of people! ! ! The room was pretty good, very new and clean! Four bottles of water are provided, and there are two bottles of drinks in the refrigerator. The water pressure is great, the breakfast is OK, and the room overlooks the scenery. The front desk service is also excellent.

I chose this hotel when I went out. The front desk girl was very good and polite when I checked in. She answered any questions in a timely manner. WeChat Butler F05 also sent instructions on how to use the room items. If there were any problems, they would be solved in a timely manner. It was very convenient. The room was very clean and spacious, the bedding was very comfortable, the view outside was also very good, and it was very comfortable to look at the sky. The dry and wet separated bathroom was very distinctive and fully equipped. There were also some daily necessities in the front desk treasure box, which was very convenient. The laundry room and gym were also very good. The accommodation experience was very good👍

The location is great, with convenient transportation. It's close to the subway station and shopping malls, and it's convenient to stroll around Zhongshan Square. The sister at the front desk is also very enthusiastic and attentive. The room is very clean and the aunt will clean it regularly. I highly recommend it!

Really lovely hotel, great location near Russian Street and such friendly service. Dalian is a great city to visit and Nikko excellent choice of hotel.

The apartment is very good, and the location is great. You can walk to Donggang Fountain and Venice Water City. There is also a shopping mall nearby, which is convenient for eating. The bus and subway can take you to Xinghai Square and other attractions. The bed is super comfortable and I slept very well. The merchant has a very good attitude. It was a great travel experience!

WeChat check-out is very convenient. The hotel is very close to Donggang Music Fountain Square, and it is very convenient to call a car near Zhongshan Square. Dining nearby is not very convenient, it is best to prepare some emergency food. There is a suite, which is convenient for a few friends to travel to Dalian to stay.
