As the first stop of this Yunnan vacation, Mingyuetang did not disappoint us. We arrived at the hotel very late on the first day. To be honest, the hotel is located on a small street outside the north gate, and you will miss the garage entrance if you are not careful.
The breakfast on the second day was amazing, with exquisite food boxes and delicious rice noodles. The four courtyards are well-deserved and full of garden atmosphere. The 200-year-old osmanthus tree, the 600-year-old ancient tea tree, and the 1,100-year-old "ghost willow" are so charming.
Go up to the rooftop, sit quietly for a while, and look out at the three towers and Cangshan Mountain. It is very pleasant.

It was an amazing homestay experience. I only booked two nights but decided to extend it for two more nights. The room was very clean and spacious, and the facilities were very good. The price-performance ratio was very high. The bosses and employees were very responsible, enthusiastic and not too intrusive. They also gave travel advice before going out. The breakfast was also good and I could eat my fill every day. The kids wanted to set off fireworks, and the boss immediately gave them two fairy wands and took in a few kittens. It was very thoughtful. I will choose Mingyuetang next time I come to Dali~
