Stayed for one night and wanted to continue, the Ctrip price became 1400, and then 1600. Later, I continued to stay at the front desk for the first night of Ctrip. In the next few days, Ctrip is still in this situation. It has changed and the hotel has been giving me a fixed price. I don't understand why Ctrip is doing this at this hotel.

Our stay at Casa de Mayte was incredible! The staff are very welcoming and speak good English. The front desk can help you plan and book your tours and guides very easily. The views from the 4th floor were just breath taking. You get to wake up to the sight of Cusco and its beautiful mountains every day! The place includes a delicious breakfast, nice fluffy beds, wifi, and everything else you might need. I fell in love with this place and would definitely be coming back soon! Much thanks :)

Very clean, comfortable & safe. Close to excellent restaurants & shopping. Hotel staff was very accommodating to provide snack boxes for our very early morning departures to Machu Picchu & Rainbow Mountain. I definitely recommend this hotel & would stay again!

Carmen, her family, and the rest of the staff here were fantastic. We had a group of 15 staying here and they were so helpful and accommodating. They work so hard and they place is so welcoming and inviting because of that. If I’m ever back in Cusco will definitely stay here!!

This hotel is located two minutes away from Cusco Square. There are many restaurants, souvenir shops and money changers nearby. The hostel takes a diversified route to suit different people. There are many different rooms for you to choose from. There are movie screening rooms, public kitchens and yoga classes for you to choose to participate in. The staff is attentive and friendly, and will introduce you to the attractions and famous restaurants in the area. The one he introduced to me is really good. The furnishings in the room are practical and simple, with ethnic style. The bathroom is clean and spacious, the view from the 4th floor window is open, and the air in the room is fresh and fresh. The breakfast is rich and delicious, and the overall cost-effectiveness exceeds expectations...

I found a B&B temporarily because the previous B&B didn’t have enough hot water. The illa bnb is at the top of the mountain (needs to climb). The landlord directly sends a link for payment. International credit cards and UnionPay are supported. The house is very large with two floors, one on the first floor and one on the ground floor. According to the app, there are three room types: an ordinary double room, a mini flat with a kitchen, and a luxurious flat with a kitchen. The Cusco Cathedral can be seen from the restaurant. The hair dryer and hot water kettle are shared. The whole design is a bit Greek and very comfortable. Our room may be a little noisy at the entrance. You can hear the sound of the bar outside at night, but in Cusco, it is very active every day, so basically just fall into bed and sleep. We booked a mini flat. The room was larger than the photos. It had a large living room and dining room, an open kitchen, a bedroom, a hot water, and a very nice bathroom. Maybe it was due to the area. There was basically no air conditioning in the B&Bs in Cusco (but it was very hot at noon and at night). It’s very cold (2-23 degrees Celsius a day with a big temperature difference)

Arrived at midday. Room available 15 minutes later. Nice room if a little warm. Nice bathroom though shower in bath with high side. Breakfast good. Boxed breakfast for early leaver could be booked the day before. It was not so good. On return after the Inca Trail, luggage was in our room. Room was an upgrade with a seating area. Bathroom very nice with freestanding bath. Excellent location.

Such a great hostel! Really good vibes, perfect chilling spots and very comfy beds. I was with a group of friends but it would be good for solo travellers too as we met loads of people. Very clean and the staff are super friendly and helpful. They also have free yoga classes on Thursday and Friday mornings if you love yoga!! Couldn’t recommend more.

We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Cusco for 4 nights total - 3 before our Inca Trail trek with Alpaca Expeditions and 1 night after the trek. We arranged with HGI to store our large luggage while we were gone for the 5 day/4 night trek. Very simple process to do this and all our belongings were kept safe and sound and returned to us in good order. Overall the HGI was a good place to stay. It is is about a 15 minute walk from the Plaza de Armas, uphill all the way. We didn't mind so much since that helped get us ready for our trek. It's in a quiet area. The Plaza is quite busy and noisy, and was especially the night a political rally was being held. I was glad our hotel was not right on the plaza that night. Rooms were a nice size. Our first room was a king-size bed with a view of Cusco. The second room had a view of the courtyard. Both had hot showers, room safe, blow-dryer, and toiletries. One thing to note is that the hotel floors are reversed from the norm. You enter the lobby at street level and then go DOWN to floors 1,2,3, and 4. Ask for a room on Floor 2 or below. Floor 1 is right underneath the lobby and we were kept awake by the sounds of walking, chairs scraping, etc. until quite late at night after we returned for one night after the trek. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and offered quite a variety of choices. The main reason we give this HGI only 4 stars is for the laundry issue. After a week in Peru, we needed to do laundry when we arrived at HGI. Yes, there are laundry facilities in the hotel. However, you can't just put in a few soles, add your own soap, and wash a load. Noooo, they have it fixed so that you MUST purchase a packet of tokens, detergent, and softener from them for a whopping 52 soles!! That's outrageous and taking advantage of a ”captive audience.” Well, not these guests. We simply bagged up our laundry and dropped it off at one of the dozens of laundry shops on the street right around the corner. It cost us 36 soles AND we supported a local, family-run business. Win-win. And boo on HGI for boasting about laundry facilities they actually charge an arm and a leg to use.
