I was really hoping to leave this hotel a good review because I had higher expectations especially being that this is listed as a 4 star hotel but overall, I was left disappointed. My main disappointment and disgust comes from the fact that my husband and I got some weird body rashes after staying at this hotel which we had to seek medical attention for when we got back home. First let me start with the pros, Good location. For the most part staff was very nice, helpful, attentive and accommodating. Breakfast was included with our stay which was good and if you have an early morning tour, you can let the front desk know, and they’ll pack you a little snack bag to go. The hotel provided filtered water, and a welcome snack box of chocolates in our room which was nice. They also provided coca tea and leaves in the hotel and I even saw oxygen tanks for those who may need it that might be suffering from the altitude sickness. We enjoyed the pisco sour and ceviche making class (both were delicious) and we ordered a few drinks from the bar which were also good. We also enjoyed looking at Kiki, the alpaca. We had dinner our first night at the hotel which was ok. Now to the cons, for the time that we were there (early October) there is a water shortage going on in Cusco so the hotel informed us that we could not use any water from 11pm - 3am (not a big deal for us) but a few times during our stay outside of these hours they indicated when we tried to take a shower at night (around 8-9pm) before bed the water wasn’t running. Also, be aware that you can hear everything from the rooms, it is not insulated. Not sure if this is the case for most hotels in Cusco but something to note if you are a very light sleeper. We could hear every sound, from people’s conversation, arguments, dogs barking outside, everyone that was passing by and every footsteps past our room while we were asleep at all random hours of the night into the morning. Now to the MAJOR con that was the MAIN reason this review only 2 stars, after the first night or two when I was sleeping in the bed, the back of my left leg was itching me and my husband noticed some sort of weird rash on his finger. Shortly, after when we got home, we noticed a few more rashes on our bodies (all of which looked like exactly the same rash that happened on the back of my left leg that was itching me after sleeping in the bed). My husband got triple the amount of rashes then I did, so concerned we went to a Doctor not knowing what these weird rashes could be from and the doctor informed us that this was a rash that was likely caused by the sheets we were sleeping on and had to prescribe an ointment and pill for us to take so it could go away but told us to stay on top of it to make sure it doesn’t get worse otherwise we’ll have to go back to seek further treatment (hopefully that isn’t the case). To end the review, overall the cons outweigh the pros. I can’t say I would not stay at this hotel ever again or re

Cusco, Peru was the first leg of our first trip to South America and the Palacio del Inka hotel/spa made our first week so memorable. Months in advance prior to our arrival, Emerson and his fellow colleagues on the concierge team worked with us to select tours/excursions (through their travel agency partner Venturia) that were right in line with what we were looking for. Upon arrival, the hotel’s check-in process was both efficient and welcoming and everyone on the staff (including the GM) came out to greet us. The bar and restaurant staff learned and used our first names all week and that really made us feel at home. Plus, the food and cocktails were both top notch! The bartender also gave a terrific pisco sour making lesson while we were there. Make sure you ask about that activity! The hotel is beautiful and this property has one of the best Luxury Collection hotel spas that I’ve ever been to (a great variety of treatments and water therapy stations). The former mansion that this hotel now resides in also has a rich cultural history and a wonderful collection of artwork so please take their property tour while you are there…you’ll be glad you did. Overall, I want to say that every aspect of the Palacio del Inka experience was absolutely amazing and we highly recommend it for your stay in Cusco.

Very close to the scenic area, the service is very good, there is a question and answer, the wifi speed is also ok, the room has heating, very new, the lighting effect is very good, there is a free pick-up, there is a travel agent to facilitate a day trip, but the price is more expensive than the outside point. Breakfast is not too bad, the drink fruit is very rich. However, it is very strange that the price of Ctrip has changed. I decided to place more than 800 orders on the first night. The payment will not move. After half a day, I found that the price has become more than 900, so I changed it to more than 900. pay. Stayed for one night and wanted to continue, the Ctrip price became 1400, and then 1600. Later, I continued to stay at the front desk for the first night of Ctrip. In the next few days, Ctrip is still in this situation. It has changed and the hotel has been giving me a fixed price. I don't understand why Ctrip is doing this at this hotel.

The best hotel experience for me in all of my travel. The saying you get what you paid for is so accurate. Yes, it’s pricey to stay here but boy is it worth it. This hotel is truly a paradise and oasis for your long day of traveling and hiking. First the hotel is beautiful and centrally located. There are so many activities and amenities that the guests can participate in the hotel. We did the hotel tour and interacted with the baby alpaca. Second, the room and the amenities provided in the room were so carefully throughout. The food during breakfast was great and there were varieties. But what truly make this hotel stand out for me is the staff. From the bellboy, to the front desks and the servers.. all the staff treated all the guests with care. We had an issue with our pickup at the train station (no fault of the hotel or us) but they were very apologetically about it and the staff wanted to make sure we were ok which we were. All in all., if you have the money to spend.. stay here. It was such an amazing two nights experience for my husband and I,

It was great. The reception was exceptionally friendly and the location was so good. Twelve stones and Armas were all within walking distance and safe and clean. Strongly recommend.
We’re centrally located in the historical and trendy neighborhood San Blas. Surrounded by local flare, our hotel is prefect for exploring the city's sites. Plaza de Armas, the Cusco Cathedral, and the Temple of the Sun (Qorikancha) are all within six blocks from us, while the Main Square of Cuzco is three blocks. Our terrace architecture pays tribute to our Inca history.

Overall, the hotel is not bad for Cusco, a small room, a small window, a very small bathroom, no heating, no drinking water, no slippers, but I give it 5 for cleanliness, for the location, and for the fact that the hotel is new. When we lived there, the cost was $90 per night without breakfast. For such a cost, it is normal. But when we left for 2 days and came back, the cost was already $180 per night, which is simply unimaginable for this hotel. Having lived a week in Cusco, it became clear that the price and quality are a big problem not only for this hotel but also for others! The prices are high, and the service provided is minimal!

Awesome experience! The overall daylighting of the hotel is very good, people will feel bright as soon as they enter the hotel!
All the details are also in place, including toiletries, bedding, catering, and the environment are great!
And we must praise Ctrip! The price of this hotel on Booking is much higher than Ctrip. We stayed for two nights, and the tax-included price on the booking went to more than 7,000. However, the price of Ctrip was more than 5,000 for two nights, and the Ctrip system also reminded that if you book one day and one day separately, the price can be more favorable. Finally, we booked two nights with more than 4,000 tax-included price.

This is a beautiful property and by a long way the best accommodation and service of our trip to Peru. From the moment you are greeted by the doorman you know you are in for a treat! We arrived after a long drive and were whisked away to our gorgeous rooms - there were so many thoughtful details in the room - from the llama hot water bottles to the mini bar and nightly chocolates. We were looked after by Edgar who is a gem and the service we encountered from all staff was exceptional. The pool area is gorgeous and we enjoyed sitting by the pool in the shade having a late arvo drink! We had an early start on our last day and we were presented with breakfast boxes and coffee on departure. Perfectly positioned - this really is an exceptional property to make your stay in Cusco special!.

We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Cusco for 4 nights total - 3 before our Inca Trail trek with Alpaca Expeditions and 1 night after the trek. We arranged with HGI to store our large luggage while we were gone for the 5 day/4 night trek. Very simple process to do this and all our belongings were kept safe and sound and returned to us in good order. Overall the HGI was a good place to stay. It is is about a 15 minute walk from the Plaza de Armas, uphill all the way. We didn't mind so much since that helped get us ready for our trek. It's in a quiet area. The Plaza is quite busy and noisy, and was especially the night a political rally was being held. I was glad our hotel was not right on the plaza that night. Rooms were a nice size. Our first room was a king-size bed with a view of Cusco. The second room had a view of the courtyard. Both had hot showers, room safe, blow-dryer, and toiletries. One thing to note is that the hotel floors are reversed from the norm. You enter the lobby at street level and then go DOWN to floors 1,2,3, and 4. Ask for a room on Floor 2 or below. Floor 1 is right underneath the lobby and we were kept awake by the sounds of walking, chairs scraping, etc. until quite late at night after we returned for one night after the trek. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and offered quite a variety of choices. The main reason we give this HGI only 4 stars is for the laundry issue. After a week in Peru, we needed to do laundry when we arrived at HGI. Yes, there are laundry facilities in the hotel. However, you can't just put in a few soles, add your own soap, and wash a load. Noooo, they have it fixed so that you MUST purchase a packet of tokens, detergent, and softener from them for a whopping 52 soles!! That's outrageous and taking advantage of a ”captive audience.” Well, not these guests. We simply bagged up our laundry and dropped it off at one of the dozens of laundry shops on the street right around the corner. It cost us 36 soles AND we supported a local, family-run business. Win-win. And boo on HGI for boasting about laundry facilities they actually charge an arm and a leg to use.

Our 3-night stay left us with memories that will never blur into those of other hotels: morning encounters with the house lama and alpaca, daily walks up and down the steep cobblestone steps to the town's main plaza, the dazzling views of Cuzco from the windows of the hotel dining hall aka Cubo Restaurant, the pleasant winding hike up the broad picturesque path to the imposing ruins of Sacsaywaman straddling the dell atop Cuzco valley. One of our best memories is of our dinner at Cubo with Chef Anthony. Our courses were all skillfully seasoned and cooked to perfection, and impeccably served as we enjoyed the bowl of lights that surrounded us on all sides through the floor-to-celing picture windows. The restaurant is restricted to hotel guests, making it a kind of exclusive club to top off our visit to one of the world's most culturally rich cities.

GGuest UserKatari Apart Hotel at Qorikancha was the perfect accommodation for my 3-day trip to Cusco! It is in a great central location, within walking distance to the various plazas with shopping and restaurants. My room was great - clean and comfortable with a kitchenette and private bathroom. Alex was an INCREDIBLE host - he was so attentive and responsive and gave me some excellent recommendations for things to do and see and restaurants to eat at. I was able to store my luggage after check out on my last day since I had an evening flight and Alex helped hail a taxi for me to ensure a fair price and safe ride.
The breakfast is spectacular and very quiet and the workers too, especially Wilson. ..................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................... .........................................................................................................
GGuest UserThe hotel is located 15 minutes walking distance away from the main square. It is quiet and peaceful but provides excellent approach to the historic city. The restaurant brought out an impressive breakfast every morning, and it even has a local artisan selling crafts and trinkets. The staff is extremely helpful and were able to book several taxi rides for us (all of which showed up at the right time) while we were there.
Wwildman/This hotel is located two minutes away from Cusco Square. There are many restaurants, souvenir shops and money changers nearby. The hostel takes a diversified route to suit different people. There are many different rooms for you to choose from. There are movie screening rooms, public kitchens and yoga classes for you to choose to participate in. The staff is attentive and friendly, and will introduce you to the attractions and famous restaurants in the area. The one he introduced to me is really good.
The furnishings in the room are practical and simple, with ethnic style. The bathroom is clean and spacious, the view from the 4th floor window is open, and the air in the room is fresh and fresh. The breakfast is rich and delicious, and the overall cost-effectiveness exceeds expectations...
GGuest UserWe had a fabulous 3 night stay in the Místico San Blas Boutique Hotel. All of the staff (Leslie, Laura, Marjorie and Mari) were super friendly, attentive and accommodating. When we first arrived my wife was really struggling with the altitude and Leslie sprung into action (completely unprompted) bringing coca leaf tea, and some type of rose oil to her right away, saving the day. Leslie went above and beyond in assisting us ! The location of the hotel is hard to beat, right in the heart of the historic San Blas neighborhood. We ate breakfast at the hotel, made to order by Mari and it was delicious!! We would highly recommend anyone staying in Cusco, to stay at the Místico San Blas Boutique Hotel !
GGuest UserWe just stayed here either side of a trip to Manu rainforest- it was such good value! -so much better than the hotel we had been staying in in Cusco for the same price. The hotel is clean, has nice modern rooms, great showers and the couple that run it are just lovely! They couldn’t do enough for us, and were so friendly and welcoming. They helped us get our laundry done quickly when we needed it done very short notice, did us a boxed breakfast to take on our trip when we had to leave early, and organised our taxi back to the airport for us -for less than we paid coming the other way too. Would totally recommend as it’s great value for the money, and will go back there if I’m in Cusco again. Thankyou!
GGuest UserAmazing hosts, they kind, friendly and helpful! Hotel located in the beautiful place close to our geological sites, not far from a city centre. Rooms are very nice and clean. Coca leaves and coca leaves are offered to help with altitude. Hotel provides very delicious breakfast and snacks if you are leaving hotel early in the morning for excursions.
If we’re back to Cusco we definitely want to book this place again!
We highly recommend this beautiful hotel!
AAdam NieuwenhoutThe room was everything you need for a hotel. The staff were super friendly and always wanted to make your stay great. Although the hotel is not close to the main tourist plaza, it is close to a great shopping ***** and the neighbourhood is nice. I would stay here again.
SSHIThe location is not far from the Plaza de Armas. The room facilities are simple, there is no place to hang clothes, and the wash basin only has a cold tap. The temperature of the hot water in the shower is quite high, but pay attention to the fact that the hot water switch should not be adjusted repeatedly, because it is said that the source water heater is burning gas, and repeatedly turning the hot water faucet on and off will easily cause the source water heater to turn off. I thought I would wake up from the cold at night on the plateau, but the quilts and blankets in the hotel were thick and not cold. The hotel is not big, but if you go up to the third floor, it's a bit like a maze, it's easy to go the wrong way.
