The location was perfect as it was right in front of Plaza de Armas. The staff was friendly and the cleanliness was also satisfactory. However, due to the nature of the departure from Cusco to Machu Picchu early in the morning, the soundproofing is not good when other guests move around, so it can be noisy in the morning.

Hotel simples porém muito confortável e com localização privilegiada. Dona Ilda e Carina nos receberam com muito carinho e nos trouxeram muita paz e tranquilidade. Cusco é uma cidade segura,charmosa e faz bastante fria Os quartos são amplos, aconchegantes ,lençóis e toalhas limpinhas. O chuveiro demora um pouco pra esquentar, só ligar um pouco antes do banho. A equipe do hotel é muito gentil e prestativa. Dona Ilda nos explicou que a estrutura é mais simples porque é um prédio tombado. A localização fez toda diferença,pois está perto da Plaza de Armas( 100m), ao lado das catedrais,cafés,restaurantes, casas de câmbio e agências de viagens( dá pra contratar todos os passeios nas agências ao redor). Perto também de muitas lojas charmosas,pubs e galerias de artesanato. Foi uma experiência incrível. Recomendo o Yabar.

Excellent location. We definitely recommend staying here! Lots to do and see close by, and lots of good places to eat for reasonable prices. We used the hotel as a base to stay in Cusco for two nights before heading off on the 4d3n Inca Trail, and then 3 nights afterwards.
