Crivitz Hotels with Wi-Fi

Don't get me wrong, this hotel is absolutely beautiful. Whoever designed it deserves lots of praise. It's so beautiful that you wouldn't think that someone could ruin it, but somehow they managed to find that person. The management runs the place like it's some sort of pay-by-the hour hotel, treating you like you're a potential criminal and charging you for towels. I don't think I've had to pay for a towel since my backpacking days many years ago. Even hostels have stopped charging for towels. We extended for a 3rd night (we hadn't yet had to deal with many of the staff at this point) so I requested a new set of towels for myself and my family and they wanted 20 Euros! For 4 bath towels and two hand towels! And keep in mind, their towels and incredibly thin. I can't think of a hotel or even a hostel that I've stayed at where they provided their guests with such flimsy towels. I'm sure that they buy these towels in bulk and probably cost about 1 Euro each, yet they wanted 20 Euros for me to borrow them. This after spending 600 Euros on the room, 300 Euros at their restaurant for dinner and 37 euros to use their pool. (Yes, they even charge you to use their pool). Then on our last morning there, we decided to try their buffet breakfast, which wasn't cheap, which is fine, but every single time that I went to get a plate of food or a glass of orange juice an employee would chase me down to see if I really belonged there. I mean, do they really have a problem with Americans driving 30 km from the nearest city to the very end of a road in the middle of nowhere at 9 am to try to sneak a free breakfast? So, I'm not saying to not stay here. I'll even stay here again the next time we're visiting our relatives (if they let me after writing this review). It is very clean and very charming. I just think that management should visit some other hotels to see how they operate. But next time I'll bring my own nice fluffy towels.

This guest house is situated in Basthorst, 14 km from Schwerin and 30 km from Wismar. Kunst Pension Frahm offers free parking as well as a 120 m² garden terrace with barbecue facilities, seating and camp fire. Kunst Pension Frahm consists of 4 spacious double rooms that are individually decorated in gold, white, green or blue. Each room includes a box-spring bed and a large bathroom with shower and hairdryer. Bed linen and towels are provided. The double rooms are on the 1st floor, while the shared kitchen is on the ground floor and offers access to the garden terrace. This is a good base for bathing in the nearby Baltic Sea or a the quiet Glambeck lake. The guest house is set amid large trees, while ospreys, kingfishers and beavers can be observed nearby. Voted Germany's best golf course, WinstonGolf is just a 5-minute drive away.
