The 1900s atmosphere is a delightful touch that adds to the overall charm. The rooms are very clean and comfortable with essential amenities like refrigerators, microwaves, and extra blankets for a pleasant stay. The laundry room and breakfast area are practical additions for all the guests. The staff is super friendly. An extra bonus is Doc's Breakfast Truck, with delicious breakfast options that we enjoyed outdoors. We had a great time! There is no doubt that Hospitality House is our favorite place in Cripple Creek.

Wonderfully restored/preserved historic hotel. Four blocks from downtown’s commercialized Main Street. Clean and comfortable. Our shower was great , the vanity was original marble. Our queen size bed was very comfortable. If you enjoy something a little different, you will love this gem.

This was our third time staying here. We really love everything about this hotel! The staff is always very friendly, and we love the rooms. They are clean and quiet. We also love Doc's food truck. Liz is the sweetest person and she serves a great, hot breakfast. Can't wait to come back again.

Historisches Gebäude, liebevoll gepflegt mit sehr freundlichem Personal.. Das Frühstück ist inklusive und frisch zubereitet. Aus unserer Sicht das charmanteste Hotel in Cripple Creek. Sehr bequeme Betten und grosszügige Zimmer. Sehr empfehlenswert.

This unique hotel is a step back in time around the 1890’s with all the period appropriate furnishings and fixtures and very comfortable beds. Very friendly western service and accommodations. Stay here when in Cripple Creek, don’t go to those hotels inside the casinos in town. Very quiet as well.

Believe the reviews! This place is a perfect blend of historical beauty and comfort. The beds are comfortable, the property is beautiful, the employees are helpful, and the breakfast at Docs is tasty! We stayed in the Outpatient room and really enjoyed the private entrance and porch with wicker furniture. The room is large, well appointed, and has 2 queen beds. We have stayed here multiple times and will definitely be back. Best place to stay in Cripple Creek hands down!

This place is beyond exceptional. The gentleman that checked us in was so nice, personable, and helpful. The breakfast at Doc's was so good. Beautiful place. Awesome outdoor seating. Loved how accommodating it was. Highly recommend. It is a must stay.

If you're looking to step back in time on a trip, Cripple Creek and this wonderful hospital-converted-to-hotel are the places to go. The staff is wonderful. I booked a package deal that included a massage (available with a minimum stay of three nights). The hotel, despite being built in 1901, is fully updated yet retains some of the historical aspects (like radiators in the room). It is walking distance to the town (although with the altitude those of us from lower to sea level places had difficulty navigating the hilly town.) I would highly recommend checking out this gem!

My sister had her wedding reception at the Cripple Creek Hospitality house on September 9th, 2023. We rented the entire house, that consists of 14 rooms on 20+ acres. It was perfect for our large immediate and extended family to be able to camp onsite and stay in one place. We stayed two nights with our combined 13 children under 10. There was plenty of space outside that felt safe for them to run around and play together. They all enjoyed their morning cup of hot cocoa in the kitchen. The views, the weather, and the hospitality of owners Mike and Rick were all amazing. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to dance the night away. The House had multiple large porches with beautiful flowers - this made for relaxing areas with a view, to sit and catch up with family. It also made for some great photos, which I’ve attached below. Docs food truck is another gem on the property. They serve delicious comfort food which we took advantage of for breakfast and lunch. If you are planning a wedding reception or just looking for a fun weekend get away, I highly recommend the Cripple Creek Hospitality House and Travel Park.
