Had such a lovely break, beautiful pool and facilities. Breakfast service great, would love to return, only one hour from home.

Had a really relaxing stay with super helpful, friendly staff. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was very dark, great for a fantastic nights sleep. Evening dining was good, but food arrived before drinks, if I were to offer any constructive criticism.

Perfect ,perfect and perfect. Awesome stay with all the hospitality to go with it. Special thanks to Will and Natelis in food and beverage who went the extra mile with my food intolerance and service to ensure wonderful and safe food. Great spa experience, fantastic treatments and made my daughters birthday extra special. Rooms are out of this world. Parking and reception made it so easy to get settled in . You can't go wrong THANKYOU.

I visited the hotel for a girls weekend and wasn’t disappointed. We booked a double deluxe family room which meant we all had a separate bed each and lots of space. We enjoyed the afternoon tea and had the table all afternoon. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. The hotel is a mix of old and new. The bedroom was well equipped and three adults could all unpack, move around with ease. To say how large the hotel is meals were great and no significant waiting times for meals to be prepared. There’s lovely spaces to just sit around and relax. Would happily recommend

This hotel is spectacular. Me and my family came for our daughters birthdays for 2 nights. We had a treatment which was lovely followed by a beautiful lunch and the f&b staff were so attentive Natalie and Will in particular. We will definitely be back thank you for having us

We upgraded to a suite and are so glad we did - the old hall is absolutely beautiful. Afternoon tea was delicious for the most part, served in the gorgeous lobby. The spa facilities are nice, and we were happy with the treatments. Fantastic, clean gym facilities. Breakfast was nice, plenty of options (including vegan). Staff were really friendly and helpful. The only let down were the bar in the lounge missing some ingredients to make some classic cocktails, and the dinners on both evenings - we had a couple of dishes that weren’t so great. This was at odds to the rest of our experience.

Room was cleaned to a high standard. Complementary mini bar and use of espresso machine in the room was a luxurious touch. The bed was so comfortable, mattress, pillows, bedding were perfect. The blackout curtains were superb. My only complaint would be that I believe the pool/Spa facilities should be a lot bigger considering the size of the hotel and the capacity of guests.

We stayed here for a short weekend break, it was excellent from start to finish. The grounds are beautiful, excellent for our dog, the spa was lovely, not too busy. Everywhere was immaculate, the interior of the main building is worth a visit on its own. Steeped in history a truly remarkable hotel, and the staff so helpful and friendly just added to a wonderful break. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Nice to get away for a few days without a long drive. I found it all good. Nothing that fancy but all that you would want on a spa break. Rooms all good. Food was well cooked and nicely presented. Good wine list albeit we did have a little of our own in the room as you do. We are not made of money. Well done. Thanks.
