Great place! Good wi-fi, great location with the ability to walk to main street, comfy bed, great water pressure, and a clean room. The staff is really nice and accommodating, and the breakfast is good as well. My favorite thing about this hotel is how quiet it is. I'm very sensitive to noise and I didn't need my earplugs at all for this property. THAT is awesome!

Eric and the all the employees went above and beyond to make our stay PERFECT! So well managed. The lodge is lovely, the food excellent and great location to explore! So accommodating with my pup. Highly recommend if looking to stay in town in CB.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Elk Mountain Lodge. The staff is the BEST and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable!! The breakfast is amazing and the location is perfect. We will definitely stay here on our next visit to Crested Butte.

First off, before my arrival, I got a text welcoming me and giving advice on how to park to avoid tickets during snow route clearing. Next they have key code doors so if you come late, you can still get in. You can text them, and actually get an answer, 24/7 Eric and his colleagues are organized and are willing to adjust to your last minute needs. Finally, and most important, is what a nice stay this is! It's more like a nice bed&breakfast, with interesting other guests to chat with, but with the privacy you want. The main floor is rustic with comfortable lounging, and some history on the walls. Sleeping was comfortable, quiet and cool. Great breakfast! Protein, granola and fresh fruit, not like the sugary breakfasts at some places. I've skied all over the world, and I would return to Elk Mountain Lodge if I was in this area again.

Love the EML! As a former long time Gunnison County resident, I have stayed at the EML before with family while this time around my girlfriend and I chose it again. This will likely be our choice of lodging when we return to my old college town....special shoutout to Erick and Doug for their friendliness and outstanding customer service as they let us leave a day early before our check-out and refunded that night too! Don't hesitate to stay at the EML!

What a wonderful experience at Elk Mtn Lodge! Exactly the authentic experience I expected & more.. Eric, Mark & Haley (I wouldn’t say ‘staff’), more like extended family, with their laid back style made my stay so relaxed & warm, from assistance with local knowledge to their great taste in music! The little thoughtful things over & above conventional hospitality impressed me the most.. the dynamic I always wish for in an experience but don’t often find. The lodge itself was what I had in mind for a Crested Butte trip.. classic western charm with no unnecessary ‘frills’ just the real ones like a cozy bar, delicious breakfast & yes, an actual room key 🔑 !! :). See you all soon, will definitely be back!!!

The vibe here is awesome. Mike is an incredible host. Rooms are clean and comfortable! I felt very much at home. Location is central and close to all restaurants and shops. Ours was a late summer stay but I am sure anytime of year would be great here. I would stay here again and again.

Great place. Homemade breakfast included. Fresh baked cookies in the afternoon. These were nice details we appreciated. Staff is very friendly. Mark stands out. Very friendly and helpful. The inn is very nice and well appointed. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping. We will visit again!

Fantastic spot in CB. This was a quick trip for us from Denver. The lodge is very charming and close to everything. Chris, the manager, was incredibly helpful. He was quick to answer even the simplest of questions. He made sure we were all set the parking restrictions of the town and shuttle to the lifts. He made it seamless.
