Premier Inn Newcastle Gosforth/Cramlington

We have stayed at this hotel many times. It’s just undergoing a refurb and our room was amazing. If you’re travelling in November 2024 until early December the hotel is having a breakfast room built on and it’s noisy in the reception area in the day. Other than that the refurb is really coming on, super quiet corridors and the rooms are all redecorated including new art on the walls which is really modern. The hotel sits on the services on the a19 and the roundabout it’s on is huge, busy and complicated, so be prepared. The hotel is located near the motorway, the coast and the cheviots aren’t far either. It’s a great location. Outside there is an Asda, and petrol station, which is very handy. We had issues getting our iPads online, in fact we couldn’t connect them at all despite the lovely staff giving us a voucher for the premium WiFi. Our phones went on ok but not the iPads. The staff were marvellous and couldn’t do enough for us.

Grateful to staff who helped me when my car battery died early hours of the morning. Helped me on my way. Excellent room, staff, service. Will be happy to stay again. Typing extra and can’t submit until 200 min characters … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … … …

We decided to visit the Newcastle area and were delighted with the price and the location was first class. Even postponing the dates the small extra was worth it.

Such amazing and friendly /helpful staff, especially when I was in a complete panic with the baby about losing my car keys. Clean and functional room. No faults. Comfy bed, friendly reception, great shower / bath and easy parking. It was a pleasure to stay

Can’t say enough about this Premier inn and especially its staff I rode from the Isle of Skye and used this as a stop over for the next days ride home. The staff were absolutely great warm and friendly and offered I park my bike outside reception in order to keep an eye on it, such a great weight off my mind as a bike rider we tend to worry about parking bikes overnight in hotel car parks The hotel was very clean and very quiet which also led to a great nights sleep Once again a big thanks to such lovely staff, would definitely stop here again 10/10

My husband and I stayed for the GNR. The staff at reception were very helpful, courteous and kind. The reception was clean and tidy and they had put up a themed area for the GNR runners. The room was spacious, lovely and clean and soundproof so had a good nights sleep. They even provided bottled water, bananas and bath salts for free for participants of the Great North Run. Had a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxed stay. Such great service and a great team.
