"Love the gorgeous and huge cabin. Since we were only 2 pax, the whole place was very very big and comfy. Near the park entrance but better to drive than walk. Weather was super good so we had a great time! Will definitely book this place again if we go!"

"The accommodation is very close to the Visitor Centre where all the activities to the National Reserve Park take place. The room is very clean. There is a gas fireplace as well as electric heater to heat up the room. There is also a fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, gas stoves and oven. There is the full set of cutlery with pot and pan, cups, bowls and plates. Even salt and pepper are provided. Others like toaster, hairdryer, shampoo, body wash and hand wash are available. We enjoy the stay and cooking our own meals with a convenient store nearby."

"Our stay at Peppers Cradle was a wonderful escape into nature. The room was cozy and comfortable, and the peaceful surroundings made it easy to relax and recharge. There was no internet or Wi‑Fi in the room, which turned out to be a great chance for a digital detox — we truly enjoyed disconnecting and taking in the beauty of Cradle Mountain. "The place was lovely although the service level js left to be desired. On trip it said that reception is open until 6pm. However when i arrived there at 5.30pm , it was already shut. And there was somebody at reception who refused to open the door , despite it snowing quite a bit. The person just spoke through the close door and said “oh you booked through a 3rdparty website and so its got nothing to do with us!” She wasnt the least bit helpful. Thankfully there was another guy who arrived at the same time and he opened the mail box next to the closed door, and there were envelopes with our keys there. This was not communicated at all. Firstly, the opening times of the reception was wrong. The really unhelpful staff from Discovery Resorts completely washed her hands off and blamed Trip.Com for not publishing the right opening times."

"This hotel is the closest one to Cradle Mountain Visitor Centre, so it's always busy. The soundproofing in the rooms is poor; it gets very noisy when people walk by. The female receptionist at the front desk reminded me of the mother searching for her missing son in Jurassic Park 2. She clearly treated white guests differently from Asian guests. She was all smiles and patiently answered questions for the previous guest, even meticulously explaining hiking routes. But when it came to us, she barely smiled, was dismissive, and gave us the noisiest room. The breakfast quantity was decent, but the quality was bad. I even found a foreign object in my food."

"A very good experience staying in a unit with wood fire heating. As it is also supplemented with electrical heater, you don’t have to worry for putting more wood in the fireplace in the mid-night during your sleep. There is also a designated car parking space just outside the unit which is very convenient. The location is excellent. It is just a few minutes ride to the Cradle Mountain National Park Visitor Center. If you travel in winter time, that is an excellent choice. The customer service is awesome. There are emails communication before our stay and they are willing to keep our food before the standard check in time. It was also surprising that they are flexible in allowing early check in when we arrived early at around 12 noon. In gist, the hotel is highly recommended despite the room charge was a bit high."
