Holiday Inn Express & Suites Covington

Hotel was nice, room was clean, elevator was broke and 2 breakfast machine were broke too. But overall good experience.

Clean, BIG room, loved the spacious bathroom with the huge shower. We had a king bed, it was the best rest we had gotten on our trip. Love the lighting throughout the room. The location was great to drive to restaurants and other things. If this way again, we will stay here!!

Some parts of the room hadn’t been cleaned, which doesn’t inspire much confidence. There was food smeared on a side table, cleanable stains on a chair, and air conditioner filters left on top of the air conditioner. Cheers to the breakfast attendant though. He kept a a tidy ship and was attentive.

We are here to visit Covington for a few days with our granddaughter who is a HUGE fan of The Vampire Diaries. So we can understand why so many travellers choose to make Holiday Inn Express & Suites Covington their hotel of choice when visiting Covington. This hotel provides an ideal mix of value, comfort and convenience, it offers a family-friendly setting with an array of amenities designed for travellers like us. Guest rooms offer a refrigerator and air conditioning, and Holiday Inn Express & Suites Covington makes getting online easy as free wifi is available and after a horrific drive through Atlanta during rush hour we wanted to let family and friends know we had made it here in one piece so it was nice to get in and drop our bags and breathe a huge sigh of relief! You can also take advantage of some of the amenities offered by the hotel, including a 24 hour front desk, a concierge, and newspaper. In addition, guests can enjoy a pool and breakfast during their visit, breakfast is nothing special but not complaining I had a warm cinnamon roll which made my day, I know I’m easy pleased!!. As an added convenience, there is free parking available to guests and enough disabled bays to cover at least 4 in mini van size or in our case US SUV size! When you’re feeling hungry, be sure to check out Milazzo's Ristorante Covington, Marco's Pizza, and SCOOPS, which are all very popular with locals and tourists alike on our first night we ate at the Mystic Grill mainly because it was on our granddaughters wish list! The rest of this stay will be done visiting other filming sites with her. At Holiday Inn Express & Suites Covington, your comfort and satisfaction come first, and they look forward to welcoming you to Covington. We requested extra towels and some fresh milk so I could have a decent cup of tea nothing was too much trouble, the two gentlemen checking us in were absolutely wonderful. The bathroom (which is always a thing for me) had a nice wide sliding door with a low down bath and a shower over it so it suited me just fine. A nice sized double king room with room safe and plenty of desk space but it could do with being upgraded a little to take into consideration the amount of electronics we all carry with us these days but it’s not a big thing!

I stayed here for 4 nights being in Covington on a business trip. The room was big and the facilities were nice however the mattress was far too soft and they did not come to clean the room once during my stay. The breakfast was poor and cups, plates and cutlery were one use only so you can imagine the amount of trash produced

Upon arrival , it took 20 minutes for anyone to show up at the front desk for check in. Next we for our room and found the following good items : 1) cleaned thoroughly 2) beds very comfortable 3) mini fridge worked 5) tv was sanitized and nice NOT So good items; 1) bathroom towel fixtures falling out of walls 2) no dirty laundry bags as usually provided 3) Thermostat was pulled out of the wall about 75 % and loose 4) bed comforter had a 3-4 inch round stain on it . But did appear washed and clean . 5) bathroom door was on a track and would not stay closed , it was in level and rolled open no matter what. 6) shower hand wand sprayer head came apart while trying to rinse my self off. Overall it was a fair stay but for the price it was not up to comparable hotels.
