Good location near to bus station and the room is also nice but the service in the hotel is not up to the mark. House keeping is not done in the rooms even after requested.

I'll start off with the positives.
The location was ideal for anyone visiting Coventry, you're round the corner from the cathedrals and the city shopping area.
The price is very good for a city hotel and the rooms were large and clean with the usual basics you'd expect from any hotel these days.
The things that let the place down is the dated outside, it makes you fear the worse.
The other issue is the numerous signs that tell you that abuse to staff won't be tolerated. That's a given but one sign behind reception is all that's needed, not on every floor and all over reception. It puts a downer on the place and gives it that rough image when it's in fact a really nice place to stay.
The random need to check everyone's ID baffled me. They didn't make a record of it so there was no point really and didn't give of good vibe to the place.
Overall, I'd stay there again because the negatives didn't ruin the actual experience of the place.

Haha, not really haha. First of all, the neighborhood is dangerous and the facilities are really old. I would definitely not recommend it to those who come alone, but it seems like an option worth considering for those who really want to sleep for a night in a cheap hotel.
