Redcastle Hotel

Staff could not have been nicer, in the reception, bar and restaurant. Room was spotlessly clean with an espresso coffee machine and kettle and a carton of water each, which was a nice touch. Food was good, not amazing, but ok. Great choice for breakfast but the 3 course menu option, in the bar, very poor. Only 3 choices for each course. If you’re gluten free your options will be very limited! Mattress and pillows were rock hard….woke every hour and eventually just got up at 6am and sat in the chair! Hubby was the same and he could usually sleep on a rock! Can’t wait to get into my own bed tonight to get a sleep!! No toiletries in the bathroom either, which was very surprising for a so called 5 ⭐️ hotel. The setting is stunning, right on the water, but it wouldn’t be enough to entice me back, I’m afraid. For the price we paid, it was very disappointing.

Grounds to hotel are picture prefect Spa was relaxing, treatment was nice. pool is very cold,deep with steps unsafe for childen or older people, no railings. Our rooms were immaculate. But the restaurant or bar menu do not cater for Gluten free options. Only main choice was a steak with extra €10 supplement. Unable to accommodate us at all. We asked could they even cook panfired cod were told no. So disappointing and no atmosphere in bar area.

Beautiful location, great facilities, and lovely staff. The hotel was easy to get to and there is plenty to do nearby. The staff were helpful, kind, and approachable. The food was tasty and the service was decent, with lovely views of the sea. The room was spacious and clean, though personally I felt the hotel was too warm. There is general upkeep of the building that could make it better, but overall the premises was beautiful. There is a small gym with a variety of equipment available, and a lush pool with sauna and steam room. I had never been to Ireland before so found the swim cap rule odd, but it wasn’t too bad and definitely not a deterrent! The pool was good for laps as well as relaxing in the many jacuzzi areas. The spa was amazing! The treatments were great, with a good variety available, but it was the staff that really made the trip pleasant. I had treatments firstly by Eva, who was patient and sweet, explaining everything along the way and she really put me at ease. I also had treatments by Colleen who was both engaging and knowledgeable. The spa receptionist Ciara was awesome; she was my first contact over the phone and the first to greet me when I arrived at the spa. She was helpful, kind, talkative, and friendly but she also was informative about the services offered and is an asset to the company. I would love to visit here again, and for a longer amount of time. Would definitely recommend this to anyone that wants a luxurious break in a great location.

I had a fabulous experience at the gorgeous Cara Spa in the Redcastle. I was warmly welcomed by Ciara and given the most amazing back/neck/shoulder massage and facial by Christina, a highly skilled and empathetic therapist. Even the fragrance of the Voya products she used helped me relax! This was a birthday treat for me and it felt like bliss! I highly recommend the Spa for anyone who is feeling overwhelmed by life and in need of some quality pampering. Just be kind to yourself and book a treatment!

5 star treatment from start to finish! I had a wonderful experience in the spa. It was so calming and relaxing. Rona was my therapist and she was so professional. Best facial I've ever had. My skin was glowing afterwards. Will be back again for another treatment!

We went to celebrate our 26th Wedding Anniversary. We stayed in the Titanic Suite. Two bedrooms, one king and one twin. Room was fantastic. Food was excellent and very responsibly priced. Staff were so freindly and went out her way to make sure we enjoyed our time there. Last year four our Silver Wedding Anniversary we stayed at the Europe Hotel in Killarney. While the Europe has 5 star facilities, the Redcastle Hotel has five star service.

Granny had come to Redcastle hotel when she was 98 and had wanted to go back to "the restaurant on the water" and that's exactly what we did when she turned 101 on saturday. The restaurant is just that,.. floor to ceiling windows and it feels like you are just floating off the shore. An amazing setting. Hotel staff made our weekend. I had been in contact with the lovely Rona in the spa the week before to arrange a treatment for Granny and Rona was so kind and waiting on Grannys Arrival and they treated her like a queen from start to finish. They were so generous and gave the treatments complimentary to celebrate granny's special birthday. Thank you Rona for all your help The staff in the restaurant for Breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner were so wonderful. Especially Grannys new Friend Prontius. What an asset to the F&B team, he went above and beyond to make Granny feel as special as she is and we were so grateful to him and the team. Thank you all so much, see you next year for round 2!

I booked 2 spa experiences , the Rasul and Back,/neck massage. Eva was my therapist. The experiences were fabulous from start to finish. Eva was very attentive, and an excellent masseuse. She took time to make my experience very special. Thank you

Big shout out to EVA at the spa for a wonderful experience. Felt so refreshed and stress free afterwards. Just what the body needed. Highly recommended. If tired from work and travel this is definitely the place to go, EVA and her team go through the process and the ambience of the place is wonderful. Well done to all.
