Hotels Near Pâtisserie Les Trésors Doux in Cotonou

We organized a large event at La Casa Cielo at the end of January 2023 and were filled with availability, staff friendly and quality of the reception (rooms, rooms, reception, restaurant). Great Hotel, staff extremely welcoming. Edward the general manager called me the day of my visit and before my arrival to welcome me and offer free airport airport transport. My room was on the second floor room 206, I had a view of the sea in the distance, a very clean and comfortable room, unless you put the card on your door to say do not disturb your room gets cleaned everyday. The staff in the restaurant were also very polite. Breakfast consists of a variety of help yourself choices and a lady there to cook anything you needed, eggs of any variety, I had fried eggs most days and after a couple of days she already knew what I wanted and delivered with a smile 😊. The main menu is a little limited but I was there for 12 days so can't really complain. The food was always delivered well cooked and very well presented, if I had a criticism it would be to suggest they heat the plates as sometimes, not always piping hot. Room service is great too. The pool area is always kept clean and free towels provided by the pool attendant. My other criticism was that on Friday and Saturday nights there is loud music from one of the bars below, the music seemed louder on my side of the hotel and went on until 4am, my colleague on the other side ( pool side, room 217) heard nothing, they did offer to move me if I wanted which was very nice but only had one more night so didn't change. All in all a great hotel.

I highly recommend that all Africans throughout the diaspora visit Benin Republic for historical purposes. When you plan your trip, you must stay at the Benin Royal Hotel. I will begin with the lovely people who work there. They are so kind and gracious. They make you feel like a special and honored guest. My husband and I visited and were treated like royalty by the front desk staff, the people who serve your food, the chef, the housekeeping staff, and the breakfast team. If you need anything, just ask for it. Remember that you are visiting a very hot climate, so things need frequent repair. Just bring it to the attention of the staff, and someone will ring your bell in moments to attend to the problem. The team wants to make sure you have a wonderful time. In fact, as we were checking out, the management noticed us struggling with our luggage, and dropped everything to help us down the stairs-she was dressed up for a function and he was wearing a suit-but they didn't hesitate! The place is so beautiful that during our week there, they hosted several meetings and conferences, a photo shoot, and a wedding. The location is nicely situated, and you can walk outside and get a taxi or a moped anywhere. The shuttle is complimentary, and so is the delicious, breakfast buffet. The outdoor restaurant has a beautiful view and wonderful, fresh food. The hotel can connect you with a driver-ask for Mr. Abou. Mr. Abou is a safe and effective driver, with a nice car that he keeps clean and has working a/c. Additionally, he is friendly and personable and has deep roots in the region. He knows his way around and knows the best places to see. To sum it up-come to Benin Republic and stay at the Benin Royal Hotel!

Incompetent staff, one of them called my room 7am rudely said someone will be working next door and hung up the phone. They are not trained properly they do not know how to communicate with guests. I was woken up every morning at 7am by so much noise being made by staff. Oh! they double lock the front doors from the inside with keys and iron gate. If a fire starts every one inside will just die. Breafast was horrible everyday my eggs was always cold. My checkout was a nightmare. I was overcharged 40pds on my credit card my bank is now dealing with this. The place as a lot of poetrntial due to the location and cleaininess. The only person who knows what they are doing in the establishment is the cleaner.. It is not a cheap hotel but the service was very poor. Train your staff properly about how to communicate with guests and stop double locking front doors from the inside at night. I plan on staying at ibis hotel my next vist.

The hotel is in work, therefore no swimming pool.No outdoor bar. I still pay the price! I have to change the room because the first one was out on the terrace ... No water pressure in the rooms. Spacious Telecommand room that works once in two N don't go to the hairdresser. Sad and Bordeal salon. Hair cut to see again ... Little dej. You can be added as soon as possible.on can't take time. The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable.
