Hotels Near Hook cocktail bar in Costa Teguise

We visited last year with our son so wanted to return here with our twin daughters also as we knew it was clean, safe, great location and the pools are warm. We had another great stay. We had requested a ground floor room and really hoped we weren’t facing the building work as family rooms are to that side. Room was perfect position! Easy access to both pools and breakfast room, ground floor and no building work seen or heard. All the staff were very friendly but particularly the lifeguard (we heard someone call him Gilbert so may be his name?) and Ava/Ana on reception who were just fantastic so helpful and so friendly. Breakfast is 8-11 which allows you time for a lay in and check out is 12! Great timings so you’re never rushed. Fab food at breakfast, especially the fried eggs and never a queue for anything. Many thanks and hopefully we will be returning again soon.

We stayed in a Luxury Deluxe sea view room with hot tub. The room wasn’t huge and massively lacked storage especially drawers. It also lacked in surface areas. The view from the balcony was spectacular and the hot tub was lovely. The bed was the most comfortable I’ve ever had in a hotel and the variety of pillows were just lovely. The Tv had a few English channels. I loved the illuminated vanity mirror over the sink. The main negatives for the room were the fact you needed to pay for the safe. The mini bar was stocked but was not free to all inclusive. Usually the mini bar is stocked in most hotels and the first lot of contents free then you pay if you want it restocked. We removed the contents and bought our own from the spar around the corner. I was shocked that there were no bath robes and slippers, especially that the room had a hot tub. This is the first hotel I’ve stayed at that they haven’t been provided. The worst part of the room for us was the lack of privacy in the toilet. It’s just a glass sliding door and leaves nothing to the imagination unfortunately. The food we found to be fantastic and the best we’ve ever had at an all inclusive. The coffee at breakfast was lovely and really liked being able to have a takeaway coffee it was a lovely touch. The lunch particularly at Champs bar was fantastic the food was cooked to order and hot and fresh. The staff in champs were absolutely fantastic. The staff in the buffet restaurant were so friendly. The drinks here especially the cocktails were really good. The service at B Lounge was very slow and on one occasion non existent. We went in one evening and it was almost empty with about 6 tables worth of guests. We waited over 20 minutes and gave up and left as we weren’t served despite getting the waiter’s attention on a few occasions, and also going to the bar to be told sit down and a waiter will serve you. We never drank in there since and went to Champs instead. The bands they had on in the evenings were great. The pool area was lovely and you could find loungers at any point during the day. No sunlounger wars at this hotel. All the staff at the hotel were absolutely fantastic, we loved the “we happy” animation teams guy who does the aqua aerobics and activities. Was suprised to find out on check out that the all inclusive stopped at 12 check out time. We didn’t leave for the airport until 5pm but didn’t arrive until 8pm. Never experienced this on any other hotel. We’ve always been allowed to use all facilities until you leave. Would advise you to check your bill on check out as I had a bill presented to me for drinks charges in Champs that didn’t belong to us. We hadn’t ordered anything that wasn’t included in the AI package and checked the time of all inclusive ending and disputed it as we were back to the room each night by 11:30 and AI finished at 12:30. These charges were removed but i can’t understand how it happened.

Where do I start. First visit definitely won’t be the last. What a spectacular hotel. Inside you feel like you are in the tropical outdoors. Every room has a sea view . Impressive as you enter the reception and the rooms are spacious. We were on the 2nd floor lovely view. Food was fabulous lots of selection and amazing chefs. Even the fussiest eater would find something here. Loved the salads and really enjoyed the duck, lamb and steak. Big eating area and service first class - waiting staff were with you as soon as you sat down for your drink order. I had my first taste of sangria! Beautiful. Lovely crazy golf ( the volcano hole is hard) and putting. Animation team great and friendly but not over the top. Enjoyed the shooting ( when I managed to hit the target ) lots of laughs. Bar great on an evening- entertainment varied and quality of drinks good. Loved the revolving seating area and plenty of tables. Nicely placed for the beach promenade and shops. Pools nice and loungers were plentiful but would benefit from stopping people rushing down to reserve with towels as even in October people were putting towels on from 6.45. We always got one after 1pm. All staff friendly and the place is so clean. I have come home and already pricing this up for next year the first time I have ever wanted to return to the same hotel. Congratulations to management and staff you have a near perfect hotel.

Where do I even start with this hotel. For the life of me I can't understand why it seems to be the majority of people are raving positively about it. I was there in March and only just now getting round to writing a review. To expect people to stay and pay good money to this dreadful place is an insult to people's intelligence. We checked in and went to our room the furniture was extremely dated. The kitchen was basically falling apart and there was rust everywhere. It was disgusting. The bedroom door would not close properly as it was sticking on the floor. The curtains where falling off the living room window. We complained and had to fight to be moved. We where moved the next day and this room was no better. Doors water damaged, curtains trailing on the floor. Brown spots on the yellow curtains in the bedroom looked suspiciously blood stains. The backs of the curtains where covered on black mold. This was right beside the bed. At night we where very cold as there was only a sheet over our beds. We had to use our towels over the sheets to stay warm. There was double duvets but this was unsuitable and to heavy for single beds. At night time there was a constant banging noise, sounded like a door on the roof area. This was every night. Again the kitchen poorly maintained and very little utensils. The plug in the kitchen was also very lose. The furniture was fit for a bomb fire. Very worn and marked. We did complain but go where. Also complained to Jet2 but unfortunately everywhere was booked up. The hotel manager lady and the staff where extremely rude and just didn't want to know. The whole lack of people skills was disgustingly embarrassing for this ”hotel” It was absolutely disgusting and is no way to treat paying guests. The area around the pool was very unkept. Hopefully since my stay they have discovered what a paint brush is. Paint work of walls etc was flaking off. The pool area was not clean. I only seen them once out cleaning the area down properly with power hoses. The pool itself had algae growing around the ledges into the water. It made be gringe that parents where letting their children swim in it. The paddling pool was not very clean looking. The bottom of it looked like it was all stained by algae. I watched a cleaner use a mop and bucket to clean the tiles around the pool area. He never changed the water and dumped the dirty water into a drain beside the paddling pool. Leaving dirty water around it. Regarding the pool area it was a free for all regarding the sun Lodgers. People where expected to lift off heavy sun longers themselves. Regarding the accommodation blocks these should be condemned. The window frames don't fit the walls properly. Allowing wind etc to blow through. They don't look safe and in no way meet EU regulations. Never in my life have I stayed in such a dreadful place we just wanted to go home. I have stayed in much better hostels in my student days. Do not stay in this place. It is such a shame as it is so

We had a lovely week's stay here with our two children, aged four and six. Having read previous reviews, we decided to stay in a one-bedroom apartment and sacrifice space for guaranteed air-conditioning. After sleeping really well during the week, I am very pleased with our choice, as we didn't spend much time in our apartment anyway. The resort is nice, although there is quite a bit of litter, and we were disappointed that our room's view was disrupted by building works right in front of it. We didn't eat in the hotel at all, so I cannot comment on the food, but there are plenty of really good local places, and we enjoy getting out and about. We did have drinks at the pool bar which was reasonable and the children enjoyed the table football most days. Sadly, the children didn't enjoy the pool as much as we had hoped due to it being quite cold and filled with fresh water. We spent a significant amount of time in the indoor pool; my husband and I took turns swimming lengths while the other played with the children in the heated small kids' pool. The kids attended the kids' club a couple of times and enjoyed that experience. The highlight for us was the bowling alley, which we visited three times, although it costs 20 euros per game. I am not sure if we would return, mostly because of the pool.

Hey just writing this quick review as we have only arrived today after being petrified for weeks wondering what we were walking in to. I just want to reassure everyone who are planning on visiting soon, that our 1 bed apartment is SPOTLESS huge in size and has gorgeous views, the staff have been super friendly ensuring our room was ready for us hours before check in time. I plan to update on our departure x

This hotel has staff on site 24 hours a day. The staff at reception are very helpful. The room we paid for was in the Serenity side. The key allows you access through a gate. The pool area is well maintained and spotlessly clean. Fountains are turned on at 10am to avoid early morning noise. The dinners are also chained up until 10am. I’m not sure this would work for everyone (if you’re an early bird for example) but it meant the pool deck remained quiet to allow you to relax in the morning. The pool is typically Canarian - cold. There are plenty of sunbeds. The room is well equipped. There is a hair dryer, fresh towels every few days, microwave, kettle, toaster and cutlery. The sofa was really comfortable and there’s a flat screen TV. The room was well kept and the walk-in shower was always warm. The cleaning staff were friendly and efficient. The nearest big shopping parade is about 5-10 minutes away walk depending on your speed (flat walk). The nearest restaurants and bars are about the same. Nearest beaches even less. The main square is a little further down the road so we chose to walk along the beach front to enjoy the view on the way. Very relaxing stay. Already booked for next year.

5 ⭐ for everything! Staff are so helpful & always smiling. Food was great with lots to choose from. Hotel is very clean & in good repair. Noise from building works opposite is minimal. We were literally across the road & facing it but no bother as the Spanish are so respectful. Thanks to all at the hotel for making our holiday amazing. ❤️
