Bit of a mixed bag here. The hotel has potential. A good location, walkable to shops, sand dunes, beaches etc. we visited on the back end of half term and it was busy. Arrived late and were given sandwiches and fruit which was a good gesture. The room was ground floor and basic. The bathroom is what lets it down. Greeted by cockroaches, it was clean BUT the shower has black mould, cracked doors and flooded the bathroom when used. We asked the cleaner for a mop and she implied we’d not closed the screens. The shower basin leaked, the plug wasn’t aligned and it subsequently drained in the bathroom. Beds were like slabs! More worrying though was the bedroom has mould appear on the ceilings and wardrobe by the end of our stay. However maid service was good, rooms and infact the hotel were kept clean. The food was varied enough and cooked well. Staff were polite and friendly. As one other has mentioned the hotel can’t be held responsible for other selfish holiday makers blaring their own music and disruptive behaviours, but they could do with being more assertive to ensure all guests had comfortable stays. Overall, it’s cheap but I really do feel they need to sort the rooms. Others had kitchenettes, whereas we just had a fridge. The area is stunning with lots to do. Shops restaurants and bars nearby.

Having stayed in the 07 in February and had a good time we decided to take another holiday there . The hotel had changed a bit, more designed for families adding a slide into one of the pools and a kids corner service area in the restaurant. The 07 was really busy when we arrived (during the half term break) sun loungers were all taken before 8am and the restaurant was really busy, the hotel was far more enjoyable the second week as it seemed alot quiteir. The food in the restaurant was really enjoyable, we used the Italian a couple of times aswell. The staff worked really hard and couldn't do enough for you. Our room was large but pretty basic but comfortable. The one fault we had with the hotel was walking to our room which was on the ground floor, due to the slide in the pool we had to walk through puddles of water on the tiled floor then down a slope, more off a danger than inconvenience. I'm sure there's a accident waiting to happen.

This hotel is absolutely terrible! My 8 year old autistic/adhd son was sick going down some stairs as it came out of nowhere. Asked for it to be cleaned up and it wasn't. We were then sitting in the restaurant and he said he needed the toilet, on our way to the toilet he was then sick again. Following that I was told by a very rude cleaner to take him to the toilet. We were then bombared by staff telling me to get him to the toilet as he wasn't allowed to be sick where he was standing. One of the cleaners was very, very rude and they continued to tell us to get my boy to the room as he's sitting on a chair with a glass of water until he felt better and they still hounded us. The receptionist was also telling us off as well as the restaurant manager. No one was concerned about my son, just the floor outside which was easy enough to mop. Do not recommend this hotel at all

Ignore the bad reviews.. you get what you pay for and this place was perfect for a chilled week away with family. Yes the food can be repetitive but we found something for all 4 of us every meal time without fuss... is it a 5 star hotel? No, but for us it was well worth the money. We paid £1750 for 7 nights for 4 of us in October half term and couldn't fault it. Some of the customers let the place down. Not everyone wants to listen to some scroat playing their own music at full whack by the pool but that isn't the hotels fault and hopefully they will have left by now. I think some if the reviews on here are really unfair so I would ignore them and go for it. We would certainly return.

Ignore the doom and gloom and enjoy your the sun. The island and people are superb. I am here now and would return. The rooms are fine. We had no hot water or air conditioning, and it was resolved the same day. Sunbeds. Happens in all locations, over the world. Never bothered me. I am up early and reserved them. The food is fine. I am vegan and found every meal time a pleasure. Cleaner comes in every other day. Every 4th day changes the bedding. Again, no faults. Token glasses. Given 4 glasses on arrival. Hand one in get a drink. There are no plastic glasses around the pool side. Makes you think about the environment and clean up after yourself. The pools are tidy and cleaned daily. It's salt water. Entertainment is okay. We only watched one live act. The place itself is fine for a 3 *. All inclusive for £1600. We are made up to be in the sun.

The hotel is what you expect from a 3*. Main points: Rooms: Basic but clean with working fridge and tv. Beds were comfy but air conditioning only in the main space and gets stuffy in the bedroom. Bathroom could do with a refurb, but shower worked ok. Food: Good choices at meals and plenty of it. Weird thing with the cups for drinks that I've not not experienced before - you have to keep hold of your cups and get them refilled. Was odd at first, but makes sense and you get used to it. Snacks were only in the afternoon and choice was boring. Italian that you need to book was lovely, but book early as it takes a few days to get in. Entertainment: Daytime entertainment was nonexistent. So many kids and it would have been great to see water polo or something but there was nada. Evening mini disco was good (albeit repetitive) for little kids, but nothing for older kids except a football pitch and a volleyball court, but again, entertainment staff could have organised something for them but didn't. Entertainment after 9.30 was good, some good singers and acts. Location: Not too bad for what we needed, waterpark was 15 minutes walk and a 20 minutes walk up the beach to some beach bars (sandy beach restaurant was lovely). Glorious beaches by the Rui hotels and a taxi rank too, which you'll need to get back as it's around a 45 minute walk and it's about 7 euros. Sunbeds are 2 for 9 euro and a beach brolly - good value and beach was amazing. Staff: Reception staff were lovely and helpful, as were the restaurant staff. My son has a nut allergy and they were helpful with this and there's allergen information and signs on all food. Pools: Nice pools, slides were good. Had to get up at 5.30 to get a sunbed though, as they're all gone by 7, even though the hotel policy says it's not allowed. Spa: Daughter has a Mani pedi and she loves it. My son had a massage and it was great (they're both under 18 so I was with them -good excuse to read my book) and the woman I'm the spa who did the treatments (didn't get her name) was so friendly and lovely. On the whole it was what we needed and expected 🙂

07 Aloe Club, honest review. We've just returned home from 9 days here. Family of 4 adults. We had two apartments next door to each other overlooking the children's play area on the 1st floor. We had no issues with anything tbh. Our rooms were big and clean. The bathrooms are dated but clean and spacious. The food was of a good quality, not the biggest choice for hot food but it was all tasty and replenished all the time. I would say a lack of potato choice but the chips were some of the nicest I've ever had. My favourites were the sweet and sour chicken, the roast pork with crackling, the meat balls and the fish curry. I'm not a big dessert eater but the choice could have been better. Iced cake, shortbread, chocolate chip cookies, sponge puddings I'm sure would have been popular. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice for everyone. I will say though, people are greedy, take plates full and end up wasting it and I don't agreed with children getting beer from the self serve pump. The staff are all lovely and work very hard. The bar on an evening could be better when very busy. Drinks were adequate for our family. The entertainment was ok, we liked the African men and Aretha the singer was fantastic. We much preferred to sit by the small pool during the day and found it chilled and relaxing, however the last couple of days it got a bit louder and some people have no respect and walk away from sun beds leaving rubbish, cups with drinks in and bath towels on the floor which gives the impression of an unclean look but this is down to the customers and not the hotel. We didn't use WiFi. The hotel is far out, which we did know about as we always do our research before we book anything, we are 4 capable adults so walking and getting about was not an issue for us. The supermarket is 10 minutes walk. Water is available from the restaurant so it is great to fill empty bottles to take back to the room. We paid £3400 for 4 adults 2 rooms, flying from Manchester for 9 nights, this included upgrading to apartments and it was the school October half term. Would I return? Yes but it's not somewhere I would keep going to as there are plenty of other lovely places to try.

Arrived at the hotel on 4th October, everything seemed quite straight forward. We were allocated 333 and my parents and one of my child were allocated 332. So meant we were together as this was a family holiday! We were given a bag of room due to arrival being late evening which consists of a stale sandwich, black banana, and a pear- no water with no shops which were open nor any vending machines. My parents room were clean but very basic, when we entered our family room. The electric did not work, so we called the reception and they quickly got someone to us (this room were clearly now checked before given to us) We then discovered our air conditioning did not work, had no power at all. We called the reception again, the guy who did repairs came to our room with 2 fans so clearly knew the air conditioning did not work! These fans blew hot air around our room. At this point I was fuming. We had a 3 months old, 3 year old and 6 year old in our room and was 29 degrees. They came the day after to check the air conditioning unit and stated this was not an easy fix and gave us a portable air conditioning unit with a vent pipe which has to go onto balcony. I complained to the reception and requested another room with working air conditioning as I was not happy about leaving the balcony door open for the vent during the night with 3 very young children the banister on the balcony were also loose! We were told we would have another room the next day for both rooms as this was a family holiday. When we went to the reception the morning after and were told that they had two rooms opposite each other around the pool but again did not have any working air conditioning which again resulted in a portable air conditioning unit which left my children at risk again having access to the pool, one not being able to swim but has no fear. So I declined this offer from the hotel as we was in the same situation. We then got offered a ground floor room with working air conditioning which were much better but they did not offer my parents a room with us which meant our family were separated to the opposite end of the hotel. (My children went between both rooms during evenings getting ready)! The pool area is standard but loads of hazards, cracked tiles in baby pool. Corners of the edging around trees (tiles) cracked. Will leave images. They have no lifts so when we were allocated on the 3rd floor initially we had to carry the pram up and down very poor lighting stairs numerous times a day. A few days into the holiday my dad got some fish in sauce from the restaurant which were raw, the food were absolutely vile and children’s choice was the same every night pizza hotdogs chips pasta and sauce burgers. Which was nothing special. I would not even rate this a 3* hotel, this hotel needs some extensive renovations doing. The receptionist were very rude about every situation raised. We have asked to extend our time in our room tomorrow on departure and they have said t
