Bed linens were wet, changed rooms, tv did not work, AC was moldy, hallway lights not working. Mold in areas so bad hallway wallpaper was peeling. Very not safe, reported to County Dept of Health. Note carpet and wallpaper in first picture. Did not stay, checked out and drove back to San Antonio, Friday night, not anything really available trip ruined.

No es lo que esperaba pero no es tan malo ni tan bueno. Para ser un hotel afiliado a la familia de Marriot, uno esperaría más de lo que uno encuentra en este hotel. Se encuentra relativamente bien ubicado, está cerca de muchas cosas y tiene cerca tiendas, restaurantes y vías de comunicación. El staff es atento y servicial. Nos ayudaron con algunas preguntas acerca de la ciudad. Lo que realmente fue una desilusión es la habitación: - La habitación estaba limpia y las sábanas y almohadas también en buen estado y limpias, pero la falta de mantenimiento y algo de suciedad demerita mucho la calidad. - El baño tiene muchos detalles. Si funciona pero por ejemplo, la cortina estaba muy vieja, con muchas manchas y parecía en se podría romper o deshacer de tan vieja. - Buenos canales de TV - Agua caliente siempre - El control de la televisión no tenía la tapa de las baterías, un descuido que deprecia el servicio y el nombre de Marriot - Algo gracioso pero que no debió pasar. Para conectar el Horno de Microondas hay que usar como puente de energía una lámpara, de lo contrario, el cable del horno no llega a la fuente de alimentación de energía eléctrica. =) - No se si sea algo normal, pero en el techo, justo a un lado de cada uno de los aspersores de agua contra incendios había un letrero que pide que no se cuelgue ropa de los aspersores. Me pregunto si alguien lo ha hecho. En general, este hotel lo usamos simplemente para hacer una parada antes de seguir a nuestro destino. Así debe ser considerado este hotel, un lugar para dormir, recargar las energías y seguir al otro día.

Do not stay-not safe and in need of repairs! These pictures are not accurate! Under renovation with multiple problems. Room key did not work, bathroom sink drained directly to the floor, bathtub did not drain, vent thick layer of lent connected to light, bugs on floor. Bad reviews dating back to January 2020 an worse in past year. Staff try to help but nothing is done to by management.

READ BEFORE BOOKING I wish I could give 0 stars but that's not an option MY LAST STAY WAS HORRIBLE to say the least. We were supposed to stay May 24-May26. When I booked this hotel, I got the money taken out of my account, I booked it on the 13th of May. I got to the hotel on the 24th, and the check in man says my room was not paid for. I pulled up my bank account, I pulled up the confirmation email, I pulled up a bank statement. He continues to say it's not paid for, he then says I need to contact 'Marriott' on their number. After being on the phone w them for quite some time my kids were getting restless. My toddler was crying and tired from our long drive. My husband finally just said "I'll pay again and we'll deal with it in the morning." At this point it was after midnight and we didn't get into the room till the 25th. NOT THE 24TH LIKE WE PAID FOR. So we pay again! Once we get into our room, I check my bank account and the money was withdrawn from my account twice and when my husband checked his account it was taken once. So we were charged 3 times. In the morning, I call my bank and they have now canceled my card due to fraudulent suspension with the 2 hotel payments. I am freaking out because my nearest bank is too far & I didn't have access to my funds for a weekend out of town. My husband calmed me down and then said we can use his funds for the weekend. After going to eat, he checks his account to see he was also charged multiple times. His bank then suspects fraud so they freeze his bank account. We had no money to feed our kids. No money to put gas in our car. No money to do ANYTHING!! I had spoken to the manager and the office MORE THAN 3 times. Each time they said there was nothing they could do. We were stuck with no money in a town multiple hours away from our home, with no way to get fund for our car to even go back home!! My father had to transfer funds and it was an entire mess!!!!! In total I got $1433.72 taken out of our accounts. I was so frustrated. I was so disappointed! I doubt I'll ever stay at a Marriott again!

There were so many bad experiences with our stay that if you are considering staying here, please keep looking! From the beginning upon checking in, I was given a paper with highlighted things and was told to initial, sign and give back. Staff did not explain what the form was or what I was signing. When I asked about one of the areas I needed to initial, she said it was for the deposit. I said what deposit since this was news to me. You will be charged $40 to the credit card when you check in and hopefully the deposit will be refunded upon check out. Let’s hope this will be the case! We went to find the elevator and when we stepped in, they were filthy dirty and still are! My kids knew not to touch anything since it was very obvious! We went into our room and it just didn’t seem clean. My son wanted to use the bathroom and called me in. When I went in, the toilet was disgusting! Hair and crap stains on it. Ugh, and to think that we are lying to stay here! I went to call front office and the phone handle and phone were dusty, sticky and gross. I cleaned it with my Clorox wipe that I take with me on my travels for things like this. Housekeeping came within a few mins of calling. They sprayed the countertop and cleaned the toilet. Even they realized that it wasn’t cleaned. My young kids were in the room when she was cleaning only to hear her say “ahh s#%^!”. Seriously? My daughter even asked me why she said a bad word. How professional! They realized that we were missing towels which they provided along with a bar of soap. They left and then upon inspecting I noticed the shower was also dirty and had hair stuck to the wall. Room was unclean and bed sheets were stained which we didn’t notice until the day we were to check out. So many things with this stay! False advertising is my second issue, why is it called a suite? There is a refrigerator that is leaking but other than that, there is no microwave, no coffee maker, no table, no glasses for water, no place to put your suitcase, no soap dish, etc. Tv doesn’t work and the electrical outlet looks like a fire hazard. I have pics to prove the issues with this hotel. The third and last issue was the breakfast. There were fruit flies everywhere by the food. Especially where the fruit jam was which were t fully closed. I saw the worker go in to open one of them to refill and a ton more came out from INSIDE the container. She didn’t seem fazed by it and just continued to add more cherries to the container. The food was cold and tasteless. The chairs were mostly all torn or dirty as well. Upon leaving, my daughter showed me the stains. Of the sheet we used. I don’t know what they are, but they didn’t seem clean. Disgusting stay!!!

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay at the Fairfield Inn and Suites Marriott in Corpus Christi. My experience was significantly impacted by a series of service shortcomings and cleanliness issues, which were highly disappointing. Firstly, the cleanliness standards in my room were not up to the mark. After requesting room cleaning services, I noticed that basic tasks were neglected, most notably the trash cans which were not emptied. This oversight in maintaining basic hygiene standards is unacceptable and detracts significantly from the comfort and quality of the stay. Moreover, I have encountered considerable inconvenience regarding the handling of my tax-exempt status. Despite providing a hotel tax-exempt form at check-in, I have had to engage in two days of phone calls, continually being told that the removal of taxes cannot be processed until a manager approves it. This delay and lack of efficient service are both frustrating and unsatisfactory. These issues collectively made my stay at the Fairfield Inn and Suites Marriott in Corpus Christi far below the standards I expected from such a reputed brand. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and that immediate steps are taken to improve the service quality and cleanliness standards, ensuring that future guests do not face similar issues.

They like to hold enough money to pay double your stay and then blame your bank for the hold which is a complete lie. Do not stay here unless you have several times what it will cost to stay there as they money will be held for a week after you checkout.

The room was clean, but aged. We stayed two nights and there was no maid service. Not really a big deal, but they supply one small bar of soap. Don’t throw the towels on the floor, cause you’ll need the, the next night. Breakfast was average. People were nice.

This hotel is in need of refurbishment, everything is worn and dated. However... - our room was comfortable and clean - breakfast was good (Pam does a great job!) - all staff were friendly - we were close to some shops and restaurants Would I stay here again, yes, but only if: 1.) They refurbish it or, 2.) It was significantly cheaper than my other options
