We read a lot of bad reviews and were a bit skeptical but decided to give it a chance. Our experience was nothing like the bad reviews.
The room was clean and had no bugs or so. Everything was working properly in the room, there was even a TV with cable TV.
We ordered breakfast and lunch in advance for a given time and all was ready at that time. Also, food was good and pricing aligned with these kind of accommodations, dishes were 300-400php in general.
Staff was nice. Boat rides work well.
Don't be scared by the bad reviews!

The location was very nice although the coral have has all died so nothing much to see in the water. The room was comfortable and reasonably clean. We had a huge issue with ants inundating the room and the deck. The restaurant food was very nice. The crab dish was very tasty, the staff were extremely good. A little more updating needs to be done.

Great experience. Feels like we own the whole resort since there's not much guest when we stayed there. We'll definitely come back.

Lovely hotel, awesome little balcony over the water. Nice pool. You need to get a boat to town, so great if you want to be a little more secluded. Reallly like that they’re not using mini plastic bottles of toiletries. Would benefit from more vegan options 😀

You can contact the store on Facebook before checking in, and they will send a crab boat to the port to pick you up (free of charge). The stars on the island are very beautiful and quiet at night. Great place to stay and be secluded. Staff are very friendly, you need to get a boat too and from the resort but that is fun.
