Fairfield Inn Corning Riverside

Very clean! The clerk is so nice when we check in! The reasonable price also includes breakfast! I will definitely recommend it to our friends!

We arrived with no expectations and found a pleasant hotel with a friendly, smiling staff eager to help (Steve!). The hotel is well-maintained, clean, and efficient. We even enjoyed the pool and gym (I recommend tightening a few screws on the treadmill to reduce the plastic noise while running). The breakfast is basic but meets expectations, and there are several fast-food restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay, and if I’m in the area again, this hotel will definitely be a great option.

This hotel is perfectly pleasant. While The room was a touch small, it was clean and the bedding was very comfortable. Even my daughter had an excellent night sleep on the cot. The coffee was good. It is a 3 min drive to downtown or the local Walmart. EV charger worked slow but fine overnight. Great place for your stay in Corning.

Rooms are generally very nice and comfortable, but our bathroom, in particular, seemed much smaller than those in most other hotel rooms we've ever stayed in. Most notably, the toilet takes up way too much of it, making it awkward to even stand at the sink. The receptionist was very kind and personable and gave us some very helpful restaurant recommendations. However, the breakfast serving and sitting areas are ridiculously too small and cramped. And the food selection and preparation left a lot to be desired. I'm a Marriott Gold member and of all the Fairfields I've ever stayed at, this one is perhaps the most lacking I've experienced in terms of their included breakfast. That said, I still think that, overall, it's a more than decent to stay for the price.

From the moment I made my reservations over the phone until I checked out of the hotel, my experience was excellent. I spoke to Rosemary, the manager when making my reservations. She was very pleasant and professional, providing me with all the information I needed for booking two rooms. I explained that several other family members would also be calling to make reservations, as we were attending a family funeral. Each person who spoke with her, had nothing but positives to say about their interactions. As we each arrived at the hotel, she and Scott, who was working the desk, went out of their way to insure that all our needs were met. The rooms were clean and spacious and the hotel itself was very quiet. The complimentary breakfast buffet was much more extensive that ones we have had at other hotels. We had a number of adults and children taking advantage of the offerings. The woman who was responsible for supervising the breakfast area kept everything full so that we all had plenty to eat and drink. She was very personable, checking to see that we all had what we needed. I cannot say enough positive things about our stay. There seems to be a real culture of genuine care and concern for those staying at the Fairfield Inn in Corning.

The room was clean but the bathroom tub should have been cleaned better. Could hear some highway noise even though room was not facing the highway. Breakfast was okay, but there was nothing special about it.

Unfortunately we found roaches, which was found in the room. We called the front desk and they did not help. They stated they could not leave the front, but one staff member for a hotel this size? We are staying one night but it’s disappointing.

We chose this particular hotel because it's only a mile from the Corning Glass Museum. We stay at Marriott hotels whenever possible because they are always clean and welcoming and in safe locations and easy to find. The staff at check-in was helpful and friendly. Our room was immaculate and the bathroom sparkling clean with a walk-in shower which we really appreciate being seniors. We had a king bed, there was a nice work area, TV, small refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. A hot breakfast is included in the price. We enjoyed our stay and got a goodnight's sleep.

The hotel is located right next to highway and it is rather loud. Rooms are small but have everything you need. The beds have a plastic mattress protector that is uncomfortable. Not what we expected for the price..
