Staff service is very good, friendly and polite
The location is great and the bed is very comfortable
There was a strong smell in the room when we first entered, but we managed to overcome it
The cross in the middle of the toilet window is see-through, so we had to cover it with a towel

Overnight in Cork for work. Good location Friendly staff Old and very basic in appearance. Clean room Comfortable bed TV reception unwatchable Continental breakfast (+€10) - Not worth it. Coffee was instant type - that killed it for me. Fine for single person if not too fussy. I wouldn’t go as a couple.

Easy to get to, beds were nice, staff were friendly, close accessible distance to the city centre. The room had problems. There is a screen in front of the windows, which was jammed at one end so one window couldn't be accessed, which is a problem when the room was like a furnace (even in mid-october). Water pressure in the shower and the taps was very weak one of our nights and interrupted taking a shower on the second night. The soap and shower gel were in dispensers on the wall were the same gel, with no shampoo. The toilet seat was old and had a damaged wear and tear as if something scraped off it. Poor ventilation in the bathroom, and again you can't open both windows of the room so it gets humid.
