Okay for a short trip
Ok for 1 or 2 nights. These are student accommodations so do not expect extra comfort nor services. The rooms are noisy, no TV, internet was not working, small bed and no daily housekeeping.

Superb Value Option for Cork
Amnis House is a superb budget option as prices in Cork on concert nights are very high. The location is brilliant, just beside the city centre and university, within walking distance of everything. I thought it was very clean and modern. By it's nature it's no frills but very comfortable. My room had a full window overlooking the river at the back as if it was in the country.

Parking is off site in a multi story 5-10mins walk away. Soundproofing non existent. Room clean and spacious, nice bathroom.

Great stay
Really nice room with overview of river Lee. The walks are very thin so you hear neighbours speak in their rooms, but people stayed quiet enough. Friendly staff and great location.

Unfortunately too noisy
Lovely setting if you get a room on the river side, but the walls are paper thin. Every time someone open a door you can hear it. Only for heavy sleepers. It’s a shame cause the place is really lovely.

Noisy neighbors and no much sleep…
My partner and I spent 2 nights @ Amnis House.
The place is very well located - only 5’ walking from the city centre and main bus stops. The staff was very friendly and up to help with whatever was needed.
The room was okay - although the mattress was a little uncomfortable.
The biggest issue we faced was during the first night: we could hear people passing by our room’s door, opening and closing the door of their rooms; it sounded like some people were having a party in one of the rooms beside ours and we could listen everything from our room. The group stayed up until 3AM slamming the doors and we couldn’t have a good night’s sleep during our first night in.
We recommend the place in case you are having a low budget trip but if you care about a nice night of sleep it might not be the best option.

Super location
Great place to stay, great location and comfy clean room. Felt very safe with all the locked doors you have to come through to get to your room. Its a bit echoey so you hear doors slam alot but thankfully i seemed to.share my floor with families and couples so it was general noise but if there had been young ones partying it would have been a bit of a nightmare. The kitchen didnt feel clean. Its communal and other people thought it was okay not to clean up after themselves, rotten food in cuoboards and fridges, dishes in the sink. I dont understand people sometimes

Très bon rapport qualité prix pour Cork
Une résidence étudiante neuve et très bien située.
Une grosse réduction sur le parking à quelques centaines de mètres est très pratique si vous venez en voiture.
La chambre est confortable bien que le lit est petit.
Notre chambre donnait malheureusement sur la route donc était un peu bruyant mais supportable.
