Snooze Hotel

The room provides ample amenities including spaciousness, comfortable bedding, and convenient location near transport and shops. The staff maintains a friendly and attentive atmosphere, offering great value for money.

I arrived at the hotel late at night to find the window wide open. The sliding door to the bathroom had completely come off its rail and the toilet walls are covered in mold (please see picture). In the morning the shower bracket fell apart in my hands… I’m afraid it didn’t meet basic standards. The blurb claims that the snooze hotel is “without the rundown feel of a tired B&B”. I arrived at 11.20pm so I was unable to find alternative accommodation. Nobody was present at reception. It was the most unpleasant room I’ve had in a long time.

Fairly basic accommodation but great value for money. There was some noise from other residents throughout the night, however the night we stayed was the night England beat Switzerland in the Euros on a Saturday, so this may be behind this and probably not typical. Parking was fairly straightforward. There is a free public carpark barely a minute walk from the hotel. There didn't appear to be anywhere to eat in the hotel. However there is a pub directly opposite, a Chinese takeaway about 3 doors down and a variety of places within a short drive.
