Hotels Near Vm Mountain in Copenhagen

Cheap, simple and clean, it is suitable for travelers with limited budget, and they have to take a car from the airport, so it is not suitable for travelers who fly early in the morning. There is no hot water bottle, and the pipe water for direct drinking is said to be drinkable directly!

The dissatisfaction was more a product of the price than anything. The location relative to the airport was not great: a 10-15 min drive. The area was not sketchy in the sense it made me feel unsafe but certainly way more delinquent children than expected. However, was conveniently across the road from a supermarket with multiple cheap options for eating nearby as well. The staff at the hotel itself were great. The room was dingy ++, but was scrubbed as clean as they could manage, which must have been some task as bits were falling off.

The best Hostel we have ever stayed in. The location is perfect, close to the central station, the interior and the atmosphere is great, the staff is very kind and helpful. Many facilities to take advantage of, they offer rent a bike, the breakfast and lunch are excellent for the price!

The size of the room is fine but without enough lighting facility. There is no hairdryer in the room and the kettle is dirty that you won’t dare to use it for boiling water to drink. The toilet have some weird smells. The room is not soundproof so whenever my neighbours are opening their door, I thought they are trying to open mine. There is a bus stop near the main entrance of the hotel and 10 minutes walk from the central station.

We booked a room through Hotwire.com and were very pleased to find that we got the Mayfair Hotel in Copenhagen as it is very conveniently located in the Vesterbro area. We only booked for one night on the way to Schweden. The Hotel is very nice and big, but now here is the not so good bit. We booked the third an most expensive a twin room and we got a broom cupboard as a room. It had a 150cm wide bed, but you could only get in from one side. The bathroom was also beyond his heydays. If they want give you room 1044 decline it. With two people in it you could barely turn without hitting each other. Needless to say we were not happy with the room and went to complain. The manager was very apologetic and got our points. He offered us an upgrade to a bigger room, which had a nice king size bed. He wanted another DKK 260.00 for the night. In the end we got it cheaper, because we wanted a better room an were tired. In fact I would have expected a free upgrade but that did not happen. From a business point I would hire that manager, because he was very good at upselling. Just of this review, give room 1044 a wide birth

We were flying from Italy via Copenhagen to the US. Arrived from Italy around 10pm. The walk over to the hotel was easy and short (signs to hotel along the way), check in was super fast (desk ppl were nice and efficient), room was nice and functional, the beds were comfortable snd the breakfast was great with many choices. One type of coffee but we were spoiled in Italy. 😂 Highly recommend it.

Location: excellent. Just a relatively short walk to the train stations nearby. Amenities and conveniences all around. Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. They are always available to you and ready to answer questions via the Cityhub app. (Psst. you can alter the colors of your Hub lights) Great and speedy Wi-Fi connection. Checking in and checking out is a breeze. You can leave your luggage at the lockers after checking out. Convenient! Lounge area is a great spot to hang out. There are drink vending machines, beer on tap and self-serve coffee machines available. You pay for them when checking-out and it’s affordable. I am a smaller person so the hub space and bed size was more than adequate. Bed was super comfy. They space guests out so you don’t have to worry much about noise and not getting a good night’s rest. There are charging and a couple of USB ports next to the bed plus a Bluetooth speaker for you to play some tunes. You’re also provided with fluffy towels and bathrobe. Communal kitchen - Basic amenities like microwave and kettle. Fridge: You can prep your food and store your leftovers in the plastic containers provided. You’ll just label them with your room number and date of check-out. Do bring flip flops for the showers, or you can buy basic toiletries from the vending machines. The spacious communal toilet area has shower and toilet stalls for privacy. Everything has been clean, private and most importantly, safe. Overall a fantastic experience!

Great hotel, very friendly and most accomodating reception staff, small but very clean rooms with wooden floors, delicious breakfast buffet, bikes to rent which is very conveniant to see all the beautiful sights and the bus/metro stations are close by. So a great hotel, friendly and conveniantly located.

Stayed at this hotel for 7 nights in late May 2024. You get the “new” feeling for everything given it is indeed just a few months in operation. The hotel is located in a very quiet and safe residential area by the port. During the day, you can expect “some work” going on around the vicinity but it is fine in my opinion. The room is considered self sufficient (no mini fridge, no bedroom slippers, no phone with just a few hangers). It is of a reasonable size for one, max two persons. Bed and pillows are comfy. The breakfast offered is unlike the usual massive buffet range but is considered very decent and healthy. Question is how much can one consume over breakfast. Several cosy eateries and supermarkets are located within walking distance. You can also chill or catch some good sun by the boardwalk nearby where people swim and yoga inside the little hut. If you wish to save some money, you should take the train from the airport and walk around 10-15mins to the hotel. Otherwise, taxi from the airport to the hotel vice versa can set you back by DKK500/- just for your guide. Rental of bicycles are available at DKK150/- per day at the hotel (new bikes). Traveling to the city, one-way transport by either bus or metro would cost around DKK24/-. Lastly, you can expect to be greeted by extremely courteous, friendly and helpful hotel staffs. Very nice hotel for families. Spacious and very clean bedrooms. Amenities offered: shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. Hotel provided option for kids to stay-in in a sofa bed, which was nicely prepared in advance. Continental/european style breakfast buffet. Nice service. Hotel located 30 min oustide of city center, but well connected thru public transport (bus stop in front of hotel and train station within walking distance).
