Extremely slow and unaccommodating check in and out. Terrible dinner. Nice garden setting.

They are thieves. On their website, they mention that its refundable 14 days before the arrival. The booking was cancelled three months before and money is still not reimbursed two months after cancellations and still waiting. They charged the credit card and for reimbursement, they don't want to pay back on credit card, they want to pay on the bank account. They have not even refunded on the bank account.

The place was amazing, food was delicious, service was great. As always it is with TAJ Highly recommend for friends and family. This place is tucked away nicely from the noise and traffic of coonoor/Ooty yet close to some unexplored parts of Nilgiris.

I had a fantastic stay at The Gateway Coonoor. The property is beautiful, with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. The staff was incredibly polite and attentive, offering top-notch hospitality. The food was delicious, perfectly fitting the overall experience. A wonderful place to relax and unwind—highly recommended!

Great experience at the Gateway. Staff were extremely friendly and courteous. Property was clean and well maintained. Would not miss the guided nature walk- fantastic views and knowledgeable guide. Food and restaurant ambiance is amazing. Chef pops in regularly to create personalized dishes if needed. Breakfast buffet is versatile. Would not stay elsewhere in Coonoor.
