We have just returned after a fantastic two night stay. We have stayed a few times before but not for a few years. We were greeted on arrival by Sean who has always been extremely helpful and accommodating . We were given a lovely room not with a direct estuary view but from our balcony we had a super view very spacious room with a big comfortable bed and large bathroom. We ate in the restaurant the first night and the food was absolutely delicious couldn't fault it, 2nd night we ate in the cove bar which was again lovely. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful no complaints at all. The Quay has the most beautiful outlook and in the summer it's lovely to sit on the verandah overlooking the castle. I would reiterate what the reviews have said about the staff (especially Sean ) they really are exceptional. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

I had the most wonderful spa overnight stay at the Quay and it’s one I’ll treasure in my memories. The suite was clean, spacious with the most gorgeous view of the estuary. It was comfortable and stylish with everything I could have hoped for. I received the most wonderful massage in a gorgeous relaxing space. All areas of the spa were wonderful and could easily have spent the whole day there. Service was exceptional throughout from booking, checking in, spa and restaurant. I felt well looked after throughout. Food was of a very high quality in taste, presentation, freshness and cooking. It was extremely good value for all I received there. I’m not wealthy but the autumn package deal made if affordable. Well worth every penny and wouldn’t hesitate to visit again.

Visited this nice hotel in October on arrival we were met with a very polite receptionist who asked us to sit down and have a drink and then I’ll take it back to our room when the room is ready. We thought you’re very nice however on entering the restaurant bar area we were met via a very rude lady who wasn’t very pleasant to us. We didn’t start the break very nice following this. Are you upgraded our room and back in our room and we have the rest of the evening was nice Tracey in restaurant with extremely kind and helped her with our food and choice of drinks and dessert. The food was excellent. The room was clean and warm and the bed very Comfortable in the morning. We went for breakfast extremely hard for breakfast the following day we had a walk into Conway it was quite windy but you’re very pleasant came out to the hotel. Our room was clean and we had a cup of tea and sat in the bar area in the afternoon. I went for a swim in his lovely spa area which was extremely good and first class flying my swim. I went for a couple of beers in the bar area where Phil greeting me the extreme kindness and friendly. That evening we had an extremely lovely meal and drinks and I very pleasant. The fuse from the room were so beautiful as the weather was nice encountered this weekend. The following day we have breakfast signed out I went to our way to visit the rest of North Wales before heading home I could recommend this to everyone as a place to stay. Make sure you book your correct room and table for breakfast and dinner as it’s quite a popular venue for people in the area to visit.

What a fantastic place! The views were stunning. The spa was heavenly with a good size pool and a great selection of saunas/steam rooms etc. The food was excellent, familiar fare with a decadent twist. However it was the staff that made the place stand out. The perfect mix of friendliness and professionalism, attentive but not intrusive. You should try it

I would recommend the quay hotel and spa over and over again. We had a last min break away and everything from start to finish was amazing! Would strongly recommend having treatments! The view of the harbour from the bar and restaurant is just amazing. We personally chose to eat out for dinner, however, the breakfast was just great. Only minor niggle would be that we were told we were unable to have cappuccino or latte with breakfast, but tea and coffee was available! We booked a cosy cove room, which I would probably say was a lil overpriced for what you got, however, we did book last min on a Saturday so it is to be expected. Would definitely stay here again!

We received our evening meal my husbands blade of beef arrived cold which was taken away so I was eating alone, when the food returned it had clearly been reheated in an oven or microwave as the vegetables and chips looked awful, as I had almost finished my meal my husband just ate it but did not enjoy it. I would not expect this calibre of service especially from the cost of the food. This was not an enjoyable evening which we had so been looking forward to. Also the following afternoon we were in the cove bar we ordered a latte and an Irish coffee. When it arrived the cream was curdled with lumps sinking before I had even stirred it. Then in the evening when we were wanting to have a quiet drink in the cove bar we were greeted with the deafening sound of an industrial hoover we could not hear each other so we left. I appreciate there had been an incident where a burnt napkin had dropped on the floor. But surely the hoovering could have waited until the bar closed. Also we did not book any treatments for the stay at the Quay on this occasion, when I always have in the past, this was due to our disappointment in the treatment my husband and I had received in June. I paid for a full body massage for me and hot stones for my husband. Our experience felt rushed, the room was cold and the massage wasn’t great. Not like our previous treatments at the spa over the years. I did overhear there was a resource issue of some sort but did not bother to complain as just wanted to get back to my room and enjoy the remainder of my stay. Had I known prior I would have cancelled the treatment. I did not give any negative feedback as we love everything else about the Quay. I did inform the Quay of the disappointing spa treatments in our June visit but received no acknowledgement.

The rooms with the estuary view were perfect the view was so relaxing and having a morning coffee on the balcony was perfect. The location of the hotel is great for those wanting to explore North Wales, located in Conwy you can see the castle from across the water. If you wanted more of a relaxation then the spa offered that on site with many treatments to pick from, definitely one to treat yourself too. The restaurant also has some of the best food you don’t need to go anywhere else to eat.

The Quay always has a special feel, from the cleanliness of the hotel to the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Good sized, comfortable rooms with great views. A lively bar and restaurant with good food and again excellent staff. We were a party of 16 and nothing was too much trouble - they went out of their way to make us welcome and ensured we all had a great time. Thank you.
