A very cozy hotel, it seems to be a chain hotel in the Wales area. It has a white appearance and is clean and refreshing. When I arrived, one of the three free parking spaces across the road from the hotel happened to be vacant. Park and follow the hotel. Ask at the front desk - although it is not the time to check in at 3pm, you can park your car and use the toilet; it is very close to Conwy Castle and the city wall. I visited the castle first and then walked back to the hotel along the city wall to check in and check in. The front desk was white The young man enthusiastically helped us carry our two suitcases up the narrow wooden stairs covered with thick blankets; the curtains were made of Welsh pure wool plaid; the bathroom had white tiles, the toilet seat had wooden washers, and the bedding was made of pure cotton. There is a plaid, thick lip blanket, breakfast is served and you can order it by yourself; coffee is served from a pot on the table, and you can help yourself with juice. The next morning after dinner, we walked around the city wall and the center of the town.

We greatly enjoyed our stay and were treated kindly by the staff. My husband booked this place on a last minute whim and we were very thankful for our choice! Close to many local amenities and attractions. Would stay here again if I was to visit the area.

Located right in Conwy (railway station across the street), this pub/restaurant/hotel is really cozy! Building itself is beautiful and well maintained. Staff was really nice! I loved the design of my room, really suited the building, it was old-fashioned without feeling dated, it felt historically appropriate! Bathroom was super nice too! Room was also really clean and maintained. I had dinner, which was really tasty and the breakfast was great too, it wasn't the largest full English, but everything was of high quality! If you are visiting lovely Conwy, then I can really recommend The Erskine Arms!

We stayed for two nights. The room was tastefully decorated and was very clean as was the rest of the hotel. The bar and restaurant had a good atmosphere but due to its popularity I would suggest that you book a table. Service throughout the hotel was great. TIP - Conwy was founded by King Edward 1st in 1283 so he didn't have to consider parking his car. There are only three parking spaces for the hotel but there is a large long stay carpark less than a ten minute walk away. with good rates. Follow the one way through the arch and turn IMMEDIATE LEFT not straight on as the sign suggests on the wall.

A group of 16 of us descended on this place on a busy Saturday afternoon lunch. Although we were booked in on 4 different tables, (which was our choice) the service was very good. Good choice of food and very well presented. Most of our group went for the fish finger sandwich, which got rave reviews. Other members of the group were very impressed with the choice beers available, which again those that tried them were very happy with. Wouldn’t hesitate to return.

We arrived in Conwy on a Sunday afternoon. After touring the castle most of the restaurants were closed. We went to the Erskine Arms without a reservation. They were busy, but we got a table outside. My husband got the Slow cooked rolled Welsh lamb shoulder with caramelised onion puree, crispy leeks & rosemary gravy and said it was one of the top four meals we had in the UK.

Room spotless and beautiful. Massive comfy bed. Plenty of room. Decor lovely and authentic. Although not advertised as having parking spaces, a phone call explaining limited mobility due to a broken foot and they offered us parked just behind the hotel. Meal at the hotel was delicious. They have a chef of excellent pedigree. Breakfast too was spot on. Their homemade blackpudding was to die for. Poached eggs in Eggs benedict perfect too. Staff really attentive. We will stay there again.

No personality in waitress. Didn’t speak when we arrived, just took us to table. Brought drinks and again didn’t speak and just put drinks across table instead of walking round with each persons. Not a good first impression, however food was good.

The food was delicious and the wine was lovely. However, we went based on the recommendation they were family friendly. We popped in on the Friday night to see if there was a table and our 3 year old son was looked at as though he was a bad smell by a number of staff. On the second night, we booked a table at 4:45 so nice and early. Our waitress was lovely but other members of staff were not nice. We were in a large restaurant with very few occupied table. Our little boy went to the otherside of the room at the waitress threw him daggers followed by manager telling him and us off and then getting cross with our waitress. He was a 3 year old being a three year old and walking over towards a table that was empty. He was causing no harm. I would not recommend this establishment if you have young chimdren.
