This hotel is very bike/bicyclist friendly, clean, and convenient -- literally feet from the Great Allegheny Passage trail. I've stayed here on other bike trips and it continues to improve. There is a bike washoff station in front, secure bike storage in back, and it's even OK if you prefer to bring the bike to your room - just make sure to wash off your bike and shoes.. In addition to these features, the staff is very friendly as well as knowledgeable about local restaurants and most importantly, walking distance and suggested routes. Finally, the included breakfast provides a good start to the next day's ride.

Amazing hotel. I picked this hotel because of the good reviews. I normally stay at Hilton hotels. I have to say I was very impressed. It was probably the cleanest hotel I’ve ever been in. That says a lot, as I am very picky. The view of the river was beautiful. The staff were all friendly and nice. They recommended we eat at O’Donnells for dinner. We were glad they did. Definitely eat there if you can. The breakfast selection was good. The bed and pillows were also very comfortable.

We stayed two nights in a king room on the street side of the Comfort Inn in Connellsville. The location was perfect after a visit to the Flight 93 Memorial and for our planned visits to Fallingwater and Ohiopyle State Park. Connellsville is a small town without many lodging options, but the Comfort Inn is a good, clean, well-maintained hotel. We chose the street side of the hotel rather than the river side to avoid train noise; since the town is small, street noise was not an issue. The king room is adequate in size, but we did wish it had been a little larger. The bed is comfortable. The bedside tables are large enough to accommodate a sleep machine. A dresser, TV, small refrigerator, small microwave, coffee maker, desk, and task chair are convenient. The only thing we didn't like in the room was the upholstered chair which is not at all comfortable. The bathroom had probably been refreshed at some point. It was clean with good lighting. Breakfast was good both mornings with plenty of options to start the day. We appreciated the fresh fruit. Staff was friendly and pleasant. This hotel is a good choice for visitors to the area.

This hotel is a gem in a town that needs more gems. The hotel is run by a staff and management that gets it. They ALL treat their guests as family and are helpful and knowledgeable. The property is immaculate, rooms and furnishings are always fresh and well maintained. It is located right on the Great Allegheny Passage as well as a canoe or kayak location on the Youghiogheny River. There is a small lobby bar that makes a long day more pleasurable with new friends. The breakfast offered is well stocked and nicely prepared. I have stayed here three times and every visit was great.

We decided to stay in the Comfort Inn in Connellsville the night before we would take a early morning tour of the Fallingwater house in nearby Mill Run. The choice of this hotel (well, really the only one in town...) turned out to be a good one. The property was tidy and relatively inexpensive, the staff friendly, the hot-and-cold breakfast selections good, the room comfortable and with a view over the river, and sleep quality was fine. It was a little surprising to see the hotel's parking lot was basically a dirt lot across the street, but that was no problem. Overall, a very nice stay, though here are a couple of tips based on our experience: restaurants in the town seem to close rather early, but there's a Wendy's about a half mile away on W.Crawford Ave where we were able to get dinner. Also, as of mid-May the Crawford Ave bridge over the river was completely closed for construction, which car navigation systems may or may not be aware of. Finally, although the view over the river was a nice treat, be advised there is a very busy rail line on the opposite (east) bank of the river that runs frequent freight and passenger trains. Guests who are light sleepers might want to request a room on the front (west) side of the hotel building to minimize the train noise.

My friends and I were riding the GAP trail from Pittsburgh to DC on our bikes. After a 60 mile day we needed a place of refuge. The minute you arrive there’s a hose outside to wash your bikes. Then there’s towels right inside the main entrance door to wash them off. Then you have a choice to bring your bikes to your room or to leave it in the a conference room. They have pumps for your bikes. There’s a bar open till 10 or 11p. Breakfast was great. Just what was needed. The rooms were clean and felt new. If you’re headed in either direction on the trail or you are just visiting the town. You should stay here. It’s good stuff! Enjoy!

Picked this location on road trip as my goal is to complete the GAP trail. Long distance off turnpike but right off cycling path located in wooded area. Pet friendly & full service breakfast. Bar & bar food a bonus. Very clean & spacious rooms. Very friendly staff.

This is a great property! We stayed in a King room, nicely decorated, and with a view of the river which was really pretty. This hotel is exceptionally clean, everywhere. The bedding was nice and very comfortable. The staff was really friendly, helpful and polite. We thought the breakfast was well done. A lot of bang for the buck here. The parking is just a bit removed, but worked out fine. Would most definitely stay here again>

Beautiful renovated hotel in an awesome nature setting. The room and the entire place was spotless. Entire staff was helpful and friendly. It does take some getting used to the trains. We stopped for earplugs after a sleepless night. Breakfast was nice and again staff was great.
