Steve and Fiona are a charming, welcoming and very helpful couple. The Old Bakehouse is comfortable, scrupulously clean and the breakfasts are excellent. The beds are comfortable too! Its location is ideaaly placed in the centre of Colyton and there is much to do in the vicinity.

Steve and Fiona are a charming couple and made us most welcome. Their house is spotless, the breakfast superb and the lounge bright and comfortable . This is not our first visit and certainly won’t be our last, Steves collection of vinyl LPs is wonderful and eating breakfast to a muted background of jazz classics was an added bonus

Brilliant breakfast , clean and comfortable room , excellent hosts , lovely location and excellent base for exploring East Devon. Kingfisher pub opposite for excellent food made the holiday relaxing , and other food options included a chippie in the square Worth every penny.

Lovely place to stay. Very warm and welcoming. Use of the dinning area for evening take away if needed and encouraged to make the most of the fab collection of vinyl records on the record player in the lounge area. Beds very comfortable, cooked breakfast were generous and delicious. Village is pretty and very interesting with a couple of good pubs and a tapas bar to walk to. We will definitely be back next year.

This was a real gem in a small market town in Devon . The hosts were very friendly and made us feel at home . Excellent breakfast with lots of choices . Comfortable bed and everywhere spotless Thanks Steve and Fiona for making our stay enjoyable .

A fabulous stay at The Old Bakehouse! A great welcome, upgraded room and amazing collection of vinyl!! Such a comfortable room,clean and pretty. Had a great evening perusing the good selection of books in the lounge and helping ourselves to the record player! Steve made sure we had reggae accompanying us for breakfast,which was delicious. Thankyou for a memorable stay

A superb place in every way. Fabulous room, breakfast. Steve and Fiona couldn't do enough for us and played various albums for us at breakfast. They asked what we liked and made sure the album was played when we sat down. Superb location also to the fabulous Kingfisher pub and The Bear bakery. Highly recommended!!

A very comfortable room, clean and beautifully furnished. Service was excellent and very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was well presented with a good range of foods to chose from. Very close to local amenities and eating places. Highly recommended.

Our experience at the Old Bakehouse was excellent from start to finish. Very friendly welcome and check in, spotless and comfortable accommodation and wonderful breakfast using locally sourced produce. Great location for exploring Devon. Highly recommended.
