Was in town for the AL vs Mississippi State game and stayed here. Great location and beautiful property. It looks rather new and everything was perfect. It was a bit pricey, but when compared to other properties in the area (NOTHING was available in Starkville) for the weekend it was pretty comparable. Carlos at the front desk is super pleasant and friendly! Also loved the popcorn and fresh cookies the first evening we checked in. Breakfast was good; choice of turkey or pork sausage on one day, then bacon on the next. Really liked the pancake maker! We will definitely stay here again.

Here's a list of things that were bad with this hotel The pool and it's lack of safety. First of all it was dirty and cloudy. You can go straight out the door, to the pool (no card access needed)and the most terrible thing is that there's is no lock on the gate. The latch is even broken so you can easily push the gate open. Very dangerous for kids! Also, it is right by the parking lot and anyone can come and go from there. There’s an open walkway to the pooland NO LOCKED GATE! So dangerous! I can't believe they allow this. Only 2 elevators and one was not working. Dirty furniture and floors. Some outlets didn't work. The TV volume would not get loud enough. Broken blind, just fell off when I tried to adjust it. 2 positives. Cold, constant a/c and breakfast. If you have kids, stay elsewhere or keep your eyes on them constantly around the pool.

Best hotel in Columbus, and I've tried a few! It was a quick 10 minutes from the airport and just a couple of miles away from the University, where I needed to be. The staff was attentive and warm. The hotel looks brand new and I loved their breakfast buffet. I strongly recommend it and will be going back on my next visit to Columbus!

Poor communication of housekeeping policy. Poorly handled by staff when questioned. No guest wants to pay for services that aren’t rendered. No guest want to be confronted when asking about why services weren’t rendered. The general manager and owners need to get their act together.

I had been traveling from NC and I’ve been driving for 9 hrs or so, I went in and spoke to Amber very nice and professional and told her I’m tired and I would like a room at the top floor and the very end and that’s what I got. I had a very pleasant rest did not hear anything beside me or down the hall, the whole establishment plus my room was very very clean, great water pressure in the shower and a great breakfast buffet. This place is #1 on my list of hotels that I have visited with my travels. Great job

Checked in on Jan. 23 for 1 night. Room 418. 2 beds. it was 38 degrees outside and we got to the room the air was set at 57. It took 2 hours to get the room warm. Found 2 bags of food in the room, some open and some not. Took them to the front desk, she offered a room change and I turned it down figuring it was a overlook on the maid. Later found black hair in 1 bed and a wrinkled pillow case, bowls in the closet. Next morning at shower time a used washrag hanging on the shower curtain and no hair conditioner in the shower. Upon checking out informed the manager and asked not to be charged. Told me they could give me a few points at best. I am a gold elite member and I WILL NOT stay here again. I told them next time I will stay at the Hampton across the street and I recommend you do to. Very poor way to handle this. Should of offered 1/2 off at the very least. When I told them I will stay at the Hampton they seemed to not care at all.
