Delta Hotels Colonial Heights

Comfy bed and nice staff!

I stayed at this property for one night in August 2023. I had selected the hotel after reviewing the pictures and descriptions contained on the Marriott website which showed a new or refurbished property with modern rooms. What I encountered was an old, run-down, and dirty 2 star hotel. The room looked right out of 1981. Carpeting had stains and was sticky. Bathroom had mold. Furniture was beat-up and stained. If it wasn't so late in the evening after I arrived, following a long drive, I would have immediately checked out and gone to another property. This was easily the worst hotel I've stayed at in many years. It appears that Marriott plans to renovate the property as tomes point. However, its just false advertising and poor dis-honest customer service for Marriott to have incorrect pictures and descriptions posted on their website. Its dishonest, deceitful and surprising from what is usually considered a highly respected company. I recommend you stay away from this property until you can confirm its been fully renovated.

This is an average hotel. It is advertised as an Holiday Inn but the sign says SouthPark Inn. The hotel overall needs a facelift. The rooms and hallways have carpet. We were able to use points from a credit card so we had a free stay but if I paid the rate out of pocket - I would have expected much more. We have stayed at many Holiday Inns and this one did not compare to the others.

The room was spacious and clean, the location is comfortable and convenient to get around, and the employees were absolutely amazing. Especially my main woman Theresa! She went out of her way to help me out along with everyone here. Amazing stay, and people I would definitely recommend.

Great staff. Decent prices. Rooms are starting to show signs of needing repair. Good location to many restaurants and very close to Fort Lee. Only complaint I had is was with other guests as they seem to think they are the only ones in the hotel. The people in the room above me had untamed children as they bounced and ran all hours of the night even at 200am. People... You need to start respecting the others guests in the hotel.
