I suppose that now Iberostar will make it spectacular, a comprehensive reform is needed. The unbeatable location, very quiet area, staff of 10, good food. The animation needs to be improved, which is scarce and not very good. The rest of the staff would have to continue with the new company, without them it would not be the same.

Die Lage ist wunderbar und alle Zimmer haben Balkon mit fantastischen Meerblick. Leider ist dies auch alles was positiv zu bewerten ist. Schon am Tag der Anreise waren unsere beide Zimmer um 16.30 nicht fertig. Am Empfang wurden wir gebeten ca.30 min zu warten. Leider schon kein toller Service können an der Bar solange etwas trinken und natürlich auf eigene Kosten uhhh wollen nicht gleich meckern. Die Wände sind kaum isoliert und im Zimmer 812 war mir ein Licht im Abzugschacht aufgefallen als ich dieses kleine Fenster geöffnet habe bin erschreckend zurückgezogen da ich den Nachbarn im Nebenzimmer sehen konnte. Wow…Inakzeptabel absolut keine Privatsphäre, hätte meine Nachbarn hören und falls die im Bad sind sehen ohhh das war zum Glück an letzten beiden Tagen in diesen Zimmer vorgefallen. Vorher war ich im 9.Stock und musste leider umziehen, weil plötzlich nachts eigenartige Klick Geräusche nicht reguliert werden konnten. Allerdings waren damit auch zwei Schlaflose Nächte verbracht um es mit arroganten Management zu arrangieren. Es gab als Entschädigung nichts, allerdings dieses neue wunderschöne Zimmer was ich sowieso bezahlt habe Leider kam der Hotelmanager kein bisschen entgegen, eigenartig ist schon auf so Posten jemanden zu setzen der zumindest nicht englisch und etwas deutsch spricht. Vielleicht haben sie ihm als solcher vorgestellt um mich abzuwimmeln, er sah schon etwas ungepflegt aus. Leider waren die Speisen nicht genussvolles und haben meistens auswärts gegessen obwohl wir HP gebucht haben. Es wirkte alles wie in einer Kantine.

I had chosen this hotel convinced by the reviews but unfortunately I was very disappointed. Let's start with the positive things: the location (it is in front of the sea in Colonia Sant Jordi) and all the rooms have a sea view, good and airy breakfast, beautiful pool area (from there you can access the sea). Unfortunately the structure is old and a bit neglected. The signs of the times can be seen almost everywhere. The furnishings of both the rooms and the halls are old. The rooms are clean but there are signs of aging. As soon as I arrived I noticed that the chandelier in the room was not working but only the lampshades near the bed. I had to go to reception to have it replaced. The next day when I returned I found a used rag on the bedside table forgotten by the maid who hadn't even emptied the bins. I reported this to the reception who promptly acknowledged the matter and the room was then looked after more. It's a shame because these "problems" shouldn't happen in a 4 star hotel

It is the second consecutive year that I have stayed at this 4 star hotel and I confirm the excellent organization and location. Clean rooms, quality breakfast and dinner. Fair price compared to nearby competitors. All rooms have a sea view with wonderful sunsets. The hotel is very close to the Marquis and Es Trenc beaches. I highly recommend.
