Manipati Hotel in Colombo, an old house built in 1906, was once the private residence of the Correa family. Stepping into the hotel, it feels like traveling through time and space, and deeply appreciates the texture polished by time. The hotel cleverly retains the original colonial architectural details and historical and cultural atmosphere. The hotel has only a few rooms, and my room was unexpectedly upgraded with a small garden. A chair and a small coffee table in the corner became a good place for me to read. In the morning, squirrels jumped between the trees, green parrots played on the white walls, and I enjoyed a quiet time in the swimming pool in front of the door. Thank you!

This hotel is not perfect but definitely 5 star , Location is good but not amazing the rooms are very traditional but for us a little chlostraphobic.The staff and the food were absolutely amazing .Can recommend particularly to those who like boutique character hotels they will love it it, it just wasn’t quite our scene .

We had an amazing evening at this beautiful, calm, and quiet place in the heart of Colombo. Maniumpathy is a luxurious boutique villa with seven bedrooms, making it a wonderful venue for an evening gathering. The food was excellent, and the hospitality was outstanding. Thank you to the General Manager and the team for making our visit so enjoyable

Absolutely loved Maniumpathy. I was staying nearby but ended up coming here for three meals within my two nights in Colombo. Beautiful building, excellent service, welcoming and kind staff, and great food. A relaxing escape. Highly recommend!

An amazing boutique hotel. The hotel is centrally located yet very peaceful. The room more than exceeded our expectations - spacious and spotless with a very comfortable bed. The food was delicious with a range of choices. Most of all the staff were outstanding! We will definitely return.

Maniumpathy was recommended to me as a nice place to go for lunch and I wasn't disappointed. The venue is a large beautiful mansion which is beautifully furnished. The staff were engaging and very accommodating. The dining area on this occasion was located in the rear outdoor area. We were undercover and had a great view over the centre courtyard/garde/pool area. The menu options were varied and the meal tasty. Desert was also delicious. I only wish I was staying there two as it is an entirely charming place!

I spent a number of years in hospitality working, teaching and managing. I cannot commend this guest house oasis highly enough. After a 13 hour flight, being met at 145am by the House Mgr with a smile and “Welcome home” set the tone for every experience that followed.
