We were here for a city break, the area is up and coming with plenty of building work going on but not disruptive. It's next to the smaller train station but has direct access to the airport, the main arena is nearby as well as the conference center. Hotel itself was clean and well designed, we had a small kitchenette in the room which was a bonus.

The front desk clerk was a bit bad, asked him to help call a taxi, but the phone called a super shabby Mercedes-Benz commercial car, the driver still had to let me sit in the front row with him (the commercial car must be comfortable in the middle seat), the driver also did not speak English, detour everywhere, I opened the navigation and he did not look

The hotel may be a little extravagant in terms of decoration and spaces, but the service is excellent, the availability of the staff is very good, the room is clean, comfortable and has everything you need to enjoy if you are not looking for luxury. The breakfast buffet is very good, in my opinion a little expensive but there is nothing to say about variety and quantity. Close to the subway and within walking distance of the Köln hbf and tourist sites such as the cathedral, the river, etc. This makes it a good base for both business trips (Köln Messe) and sightseeing.

Ich war in Zimmer 56 untergebracht und habe mich rundum wohlgefühlt. Die gemütliche Atmosphäre, die durch das Zimmer durch die Dachgeschoss entstand, war einfach toll. Das Zimmer war sauber, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und perfekt für einen entspannten Aufenthalt. Das Hotel überzeugt zudem durch seine zentrale, aber ruhige Lage und den freundlichen Service. Ich würde das Midtown Hotel jederzeit weiterempfehlen und komme gerne wieder!

Perfect location at the Schokoladenmuseum. Check in experience terrible. Despite advance email communication has no request seemingly been addressed. Incompetent staff even needed to ask supervisor where to find a razor. Broken lift causing extended waiting times.
