What a lovely find. Comfortable clean rooms, toiletries supplied. Despite being situated on a main road it was still a quiet location traffic was minimal. Central location for visiting the Cotswolds. Limted evening menu but nice food & excellent breakfast. Lovely staff. Would def recommend.

Have just spent 2 nights here on a road trip heading towards Cornwall. For some reason we were allocated an accessible room. The room itself was nice enough although the bathroom absolutely had an awful bad mould odour. The bathroom was awful, black mould and rusty items, broken window blind. It completely spoiled our stay. I mentioned this on our first evening when we went for food, only to be informed it’s an old building, there is no possible reason for mould like that in a bathroom. Over all the staff were pleasant and welcoming. The pub and restaurant were homely with enjoyable food. Breakfast was good. Unfortunately the bathroom was just not acceptable and made for an unpleasant stay.

What a fantastic place for a weekend away. The Inn is 15th century, but the rooms were large and the beds very comfortable. Lovely shower.bath. Rooms a little tired but the staff ,food and ambience make up for it 100%. We ladies had a ball.thank you

We’ve been going to the Colesbourne since 2017 and for the first time we were quite disappointed with the quality of the Sunday lunch. No green veg at all, pork belly was very fatty and the “crispy” roast potatoes were not nice nor crispy at all. It felt like there’s been a change in ownership or management as it definitely wasn’t up to the standard we have always previously enjoyed at the Colesbourne.

Just another tired inn. Cobwebs and dust in bedroom. All net curtains dirty. Flaming paint and plaster. Noisy by road. Staff haven’t a clue. Served dinner no cutlery had to ask and then ask again for serviettes. Ordered a cappuccino and was asked if needed milk with it??!! Beers were waiting to be changed so settled in 3rd choice. Pinot Noir tasted awful as if bottle had been open for some time so ordered another choice and at least was given money off. Breakfast ok. Just an ok place but won’t recommend or be coming back.

We stayed in one of the upgraded rooms and it was ok. It was comfortable and pleasant but it was only averagely clean. The bathroom was not spotless and the shower didn’t work. There were old cobwebs in the corners of the bedroom too. We reported all of this before we left. The staff we very pleasant.

We went out with relatives for a Sunday Lunch. The place was fairly empty at 1pm which was a surprise. Friendly and helpful staff but the food was very mediocre. It was bland and the potatoes difficult to cut but actually had very little potato inside. We have eaten here a fair few times in the past but we won’t be returning. I think it must have changed hands in the last year or so. Sadly I can’t recommend eating there.

This was our third stay here and not sure if it has changed ownership but felt that the standard was not as previous visits. Positives - the staff are friendly and very accommodating, the beer garden at the back is beautiful and well kept. We stayed in the main building which supplied tea coffee/ biscuits plus water for the room. Bed was comfortable , however, the pillows were awful. The bathroom was where I felt it was let down it really needs a total refurb, rust on doors at bottom of shower the whole bathroom felt dowdy. The first night our meal was ok nothing spectacular. The second night we were both going to have steak but unfortunately they only had one steak left, which for a Friday evening we were surprised as it was early in the evening. There was a slight mixup with our bill at the end of the evening but this was rectified very quickly but good job we checked. Would I return unfortunately no.

Lovely old building in a pretty area, with very friendly and helpful staff. The room was small but perfectly fine for the two of us, with car parking outside the door. We were very pleased overall, but there are few things that maybe need more attention. Our room had dust in the corners, and a few areas of the bathroom had not been cleaned. I was happy with the food I recieved but my wife's chunky chips were inedible as the potatoes had many black parts that should have been removed. My impression was that the staff they had were working hard/ maybe overstretched? so didn't have the time to give attention to the smaller details
