I don't recommend staying at a Chinese resort. The place is too scattered, and you need to take a car from where you stay to the front desk. The elevator where I stayed was broken, and the luggage had to be carried up and down. There was a ** next to it, and the loud music was played until 1 a.m. We went to Saint Bart and stayed on Saint Barthelemy for a day. At 8 a.m., we took our luggage to the front desk to call for a taxi to the cruise terminal, but there was no one at the front desk. We came back and stayed at another hotel on the island. The price was similar, but the environment and service were completely different. See my other review.

This hotel is actually a local, an old-fashioned resort, next to Prince **. The facility looks very dilapidated from the outside, but it has been renovated from the inside, in line with the latest aesthetic style. I give full marks to this interior. The environment is very good. The surrounding area is full of resort land with complete facilities. Various restaurants, bars, docks, fitness centers are all in the resort.

This place is in desperate need of renovation super run down and falling apart. The pictures on the website must have been taken when this hotel was in its prime, 15-20 years ago. It’s surprising that Wyndham has their name associated with it. We're relieved that we’re only staying for one night, I could not imagine enduring more. The rooms are dirty, the pleather pull-out couch is peeling apart and covering the floor and when we opened we we found food and garbage inside and underneath it. We slept the kids in the same bed as us, I could not make Then sleep on that filth. The furniture is broken, tvs do not work ac units falling off the wall. The pool also is run down with broken stairs and there is no working filters. The pictures of the pool with the waterfall on their website looks awesome but again probably taken 20 years ago. On the one positive note, a few of the staff members were excellent, but unfortunately, the front desk staff were less accommodating and seemed annoyed by our presence during check-in and that they had better things to do than help us check in. They also never answerer the phone, landline or hotel phone. At check in you have a sign that you there is online after 10pm, but that rules does not seem to apply to the ****** weddings. This place needs a complete overhauled and anew management company, Wyndham needs a wake up call. Wonder who actually gives this place a 5/5, guess it is the staff and their friends and family. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

WORST STAY EVER!!!! Some friends and I decided to spend an extra night in St. Martin/St. Maarten as we were having such a wonderful time. Saw the pictures online and booked immediately on *******, as it looked modern and clean. To our horror, we were greeted by the front desk agent who was very rough and told us that they did not have any where to put us as they were full. We showed him our confirmation and then by some miracle, he gave us the keys. We were then escorted by a bellman in a rental to the main entrance of the building. We lugged our luggage up to the second floor as there was only 1 working elevator on the opposite end of the building. Once we entered the room, we noticed that it looked similar to the pictures but everything was dirty and worn. The pullout couch started to fall apart when we touched it and left a huge mess in the floor. When we asked to have someone clean it, they informed us that housekeeping was closed for the day (At 5:00 PM) and that they could not access it and they would be in in the morning (Baring in mind that we were only staying the night). We were also met by old wrappers believably from previous guests that stayed in the unit. The surfaces including the air condition unit and the tables were covered in dirt and the cushions were yellowing and smelly. The same gentleman, Jose, brought us the extra towels as well as everything else we needed and remained the best part of the stay. All of the other staff were extremely rude and unhelpful, forcing us to have to struggle with our luggage upon checkout. All in all, I would never stay there again and I urge the owners of the property to work on providing a cleaner and friendlier environment for guests. WASTED MONEYY!

Disappointing. The mattress had mold and the room was smelling really bad! We are here for VACATION! We need a break from where we are coming from. Pool is really dirty air conditioner leaking and not clean inside. Trying to reach the receptionist and no answer. when they finally answered they were absolutely RUDE? Where is the great experience and activities ? A lot of lies also in the site web because unfortunately we realized that only 2 restaurants are available…. I will not recommend this place to nobody. For a 100$ more you can find better. Stay away.

The staff means well, and when no cab was available for a ride into Phillipsburg, one of the men offered to drive us there. But the reason we went to Phillipsburg and spent the day at Seaview Beach Hotel, was to get away from the construction noise and lack of amenities at Port de Plaisance. We were assigned a room directly above ongoing renovations which began before 7:30AM, including on a Saturday. The pool area provides shade for, at most, four or five lucky people; otherwise, no umbrellas. And no pool towels, unless you walk quite a distance back to the main office where you’re told it will cost $10 per towel deposit and, no, it cannot be charged to your room, it must be paid in cash which is back in your room which is when you decide to spend the day elsewhere.

This is our 2nd year in this marina and we absolutely love the staff here ! Jessica and her crew always goes above and beyond for us ! We are so grateful for them and this place ! Our experience here has been a delight !
