The hotel is located halfway up the mountain, only a dozen minutes' drive from Cape Roca.

Room is small, no balcony. Tiny bathroom. Very simple breakfast, few parking spaces... With the exception of the staff service, which was very good, I think the hotel could be much better for the price charged.

Very nice, comfortable hotel with very friendly staff who were always helpful. Good connection to attractions in the area and to Lisbon. Unfortunately, the vacation here was over far too quickly.

We used this hotel as a base for our trip to the Lisbon area. The location is ok but you need to have a car to explore the locality. We did take buses to Sintra as taking a car to Sintra looks a nightmare. We did use taxis to get back from Sintra (€10 + tip). This is a budget hotel, so don't expect 5 star luxury. Although the hotel is basic, it is clean & the staff were really excellent. The breakfast was the usual continental fare, along with pancakes which you can make yourself. Although evening meals are available - don't get too excited, as these are microwave dinners. I would recommend this hotel, but only if you are on a budget & using a hired car

We stayed there for one night as part of a Portugal Roadtrip to visit Cabo da Roca. We were pleasantly surprised by the cool accommodation and especially the friendly staff. Highly recommended

The room was nice and tidy, the staff was very lovely and helpful, breakfast was good and the sourroundings very beatiful (i had been to sintra and the cost). I was there by car and found it usefull, i don't know how good the bus connections are...

Hotel fuori città, servono 20-25' di bus (fermata a soli 50 mt) per raggiungere il centro storico e le principali attrazioni ma ha il vantaggio di avere la disponibilità di parcheggio in hotel (pochi posti) e abbondante parcheggio gratuito accanto alla struttura. Considerando inoltre che é praticamente impossibile raggiungere in auto il Palacio da Pena e la Quinta da Regaleira è un'opzione interessante. Camera molto basica e datata ma pulita e funzionale. Personale squisitamente disponibile e cordiale, buon rapporto qualità prezzo rispetto alla località.
