Four Points by Sheraton Cocoa Beach

Me and my wife stayed at the Four Points Sheraton Cocoa Beach on 11-21-2025 for a one night stay before leaving for a Cruise the next day. They gave us an Handicap Room next to two elevators and the main access to all others rooms on the four floor. Room # 400. First of all each time anyone would get onto the elevators or enter the halls the main door would slam really hard which kept us us all night. BUT the main issues was that our king size bed had a mattress pad on it SOAKED WITH URINE from the previously guest. We contacted the front desk staff and was told that someone will come and check it out. Due to coming back to our room late that night we waited for someone to come so we made an pallet on the floor so we could get some rest from the long drive from Atlanta. The next morning i went to guest services and complain about the problem again and was told that THEY (THERESA) didn't call us due to it was late and didn't want to disturb or sleep. While i was down stairs my Wife walked out the room to see if any staff was in the hallway and saw the Supervisor of house keeping coming from another room and ask her to PLEASE come and see what's going on in our room. Once the Supervisor enter our room and my Wife showed her the bed SHE IMMEDIATELY pulled the sheets and mattress pad off the bed and stated to my Wife yes this is soaked with urine and should have been remove prior to us your stay. MY MAIN POINT IS ( Lying in a bed soiled with urine, especially for a prolonged period, primarily poses risks of skin irritation, rashes, and potential skin infection.) very poor customer service form the staff at this location. WHY was we giving a Handicap room from the started we are not disable at all.

First and foremost, the staff was fantastic. Everyone we met was very friendly and welcoming. If I was rating the employees alone, this would be a 5/5 review. My family and I stayed at this hotel the night before a cruise in January of 2025. In addition to the great staff, the hotel was clean (albeit dated which we will get to shortly), close to the beach (about a block away and easily walkable), and directly across the street from Ron Jon (which anyone reading this probably already knows). The on-site surf store was decent too. There was plenty of parking in the garage. The positives end there. Sadly, this property is in need of a major upgrade. As a Lifetime Platinum Marriot Rewards Member, I obviously stay at a lot of Marriot properties, and Sheraton is my preferred brand within Marriot. Basically, Four Points is a sub brand within Sheraton that they originally created to give to their properties that are getting older and no longer up to the Sheraton standards. This property is no exception, but was in the worst shape out of any Four Points I have stayed at. The rooms were dated ... again I will credit them as being clean, but they were a throw back to 2004. Half of our lights and outlets didn't work. We had an interior room with a window to the atrium. It was dark and kind of depressing. Luckily, we only spent one night there, and spent as little time as possible in the room. You likely saw the photos of the beautiful swimming pool with the cave and waterfall feature! Yeah, it doesn't look like that in real life. First, we couldn't find it. We wandered around the hotel looking for it, only to find that it is tucked away in a dark corner *inside the parking garage*! It was bizarre! Like something straight out of a 1980s road trip movie or Hot Tub Time Machine when we all got ready for a swim and showed up to find the pool closed. .. but we wouldn't have used it anyways as it was tiny, dark, dingy, and depressing with cloudy green water, flickering lights, and tired loungers that were so worn out you would touch the ground the seat material was stretched out and sagging so much. Yeah, it was bad. Now ... I will say this may be dated information as literally the next morning a construction crew was there jackhammering out the pool deck, hopefully to do a full remodel ... But, I have found no photos of an updated pool area, and even if they did update it, I don't think resurfacing it will change the fact it is in the parking garage. The on-site restaurant was another huge letdown. Again the staff was great, and the pizza was pretty good. The facilities were tired, worn out, and dated, and the food other than pizza we had just wasn't that great. You may be thinking "but what about that sweet aquarium that's in all the promotional photos?". It was drained and the fish were replaced by a *poster of fish glued to the outside of the tank* ... Again like something right out of a comedy movie!!! I imagine it got to be

Such an amazing hotel! I came recent for a solo surf trip, and was treated like absolute royalty everyday! Amazing staff, and building, beach in waking distance. The best part was rent my surfboard and being able to transport it back to my room through the elevators!!! The cocoa beach surf company inside the hotel was an added bonuses! And the restaurant was to die for!!!!! Alligator PO'BOY was by far the greatest I've had in years!! I will be booking my next trip for the upcoming year, and you know I'll be staying here!!!!!

The reviews for Four Points Cocoa Beach were all over the place so I was a little concerned. We had a wonderful 3 day stay here. The hotel could use some updating but our room was spacious, clean, the bed was very comfortable. It was so hot during our stay but everything was walkable and very close. Ron Jon next door, great restaurants close by, and the beach was an easy one block walk. The parking garage was convenient and a bargain at $10/day. We will be back for another visit.
