Really enjoyed that stay for what we needed it for. The room could of been a bit cleaner.

Had a lovely night very clean staff helpful

Lovely hotel, with some areas needing some attention which is normal with such a large building but did not detract from the rest of the hotel. We stayed in the stable block, the room & bathroom were a good size & very clean. We had breakfast in the conservatory which had lovely views over the golf course. Breakfast was excellent, lots of choice & well cooked. There is a very big lounge area & some cosy little areas to relax. We found all the staff to be very friendly & helpful especially Mandy on reception who we saw most of the time during our stay. Would definitely recommend.

Just come back from a stay at Hall Garth hotel.It is a very welcoming and homely place.Room was very clean and comfortable.Staff are very friendly and helpful.Evening meal was beautifully served and presented.Breakfast had plenty of choice and was delicious

Very disappointed. Such a beautiful looking building but very dated inside and needs a refurb. Everything looked tired. We stayed in 'the stables' section of the hotel and the bathroom had mould, the bath leaked and the bed had stains. It was very disappointing overall. It could be beautiful but it's needs some attention to bring it back to life. Staff were friendly and nice though!

We were met with a massive smile as soon as we entered reception. The room managed to be comfortable and cozy whilst being huge. There are some problems with fixtures, like the windows being a bit knackered, but these were completely outweighed by the positives. The food was amazing and plentiful, we cant speak highly enough of staff. The spa was a great way to spend a few hours. We will be going back next time we are in the area.

Mandy works on reception. Mandy thinks it’s appropriate to share her opinion about guests in front of other guests. Her opinion isn’t pleasant or kind. Mandy likes to talk about people to her colleagues and seems to have a high opinion of herself. Mandy will smile at you, but as soon as your backs turned, she’ll be calling you names like a child in the playground. It doesn’t matter how much money you spend to stay at the hotel, or if you pay for ridiculously expensive mediocre food, if the staff think that they are better than you, you’ll be treated as muck on their shoe. Service matters to me. I won’t be back and would not recommend staying - there are other places where you’d be treated with a little respect and a bit of kindness.

This hotel may only be a 3* but the service is most certainly 5* We made our initial reservation over the phone with Mandy. Due to unfortunate circumstances we had to amend our booking, I rang though to the hotel and by chance spoke to her again, she couldn’t have been more helpful, she was kind, caring and sympathetic of our situation. Upon check in it was great to actually meet her in person, she’s a great asset to the hotel. We had our dogs with us and had a room in the grounds which was comfortable and warm. The first night we witnessed a guest rather worse for wear causing a scene because she was refused at the bar. The receptionist and members of staff on duty handled this in a very professional manner, again a credit to the hotel. Breakfast was fantastic, we ate lunch and evening meal in the bar area, the young waiters were very polite and attentive. Thank you all for a lovely stay

Lovely hotel in beautiful grounds. Staff all very friendly & helpful. Very comfortable room, just a bit on the dark side with trees blocking out natural light - ask for a room overlooking the golf course if you can. Spa was a huge treat to have on site, very relaxing and great value for money. Would definitely go back.
