Goldfield Glamping

Amazing experience with a wonderful host who was most accommodating. Bed was super comfortable, bathroom clean, tent was very cosy. Perfect location for a getaway away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Will definitely recommend and visit again.

Brilliant night away greeted by 50 kangaroos when we checked in, private bathroom and shower were so clean, made dinner on the private BBQ beside our own fire pit. Lovely walks around the site. Cosy beds. Brilliant hosts, will be back again!

Brilliantly appointed. It had everything. We loved it. From the private fire pit, to the mini coonara type fire place inside the tent, to keep us toasty warm. Queen beds with comfy doonas, a couple of lounge chairs all inside the tent. The private bathroom, as nice as the one in my house was amazing also. We ordered the cooked bfast in the morning & it did not disappoint!! We even moved our outside table and chairs indoors (as it was a chilly morning), and the tent accommodated this nicely & it made bfast even nicer. The grounds of the farm are also quite lovely, wi try multiple watering holes and a sweeping river with giant overlooking cliff tops. My only knock on this place, is that there are only 5 tents on site (which is perfect), but they are a touch too close together. If they could potentially be spread out more, that would add to the experience by having even more privacy.

We spent a Saturday and Sunday night in the Rush tent which had its own private bathroom/shower facilities next door. With only 5 bell tents in total there is no shortage of privacy and quiet in a wonderful rural setting. The tents and facilities are spotlessly clean and the hosts (Darren and Gems) were wonderful. If you opt for the cheeseboards and breakfasts you will not be disappointed at all. The locality is great to explore in particular Maldon and Castlemaine.

What a wonderful glamping getaway. We spent 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Close enough to visit the surrounding towns and take in all they have to offer, yet far enough away to be secluded. The setup in the tent was excellent and very comfortable. Having our own private ensuite was a bonus. The nature walks and wildlife added to the experience. Cooking facilities were ample - we enjoyed the firepit each afternoon/evening to fully embrace the experience. Our stay was to get some real R & R and it definitely achieved that. Joy & Norman, the hosts, were amazing, nothing was to much trouble for them.
