Red Roof Inn Clifton Park

This was the worst experience we've had. We asked for housekeeping every other day and had absolutely no housekeeping the whole week even after talking to the supervisor of housekeeping. Had to get our towels twice from front desk. People standing behind the building smoking and it was not cigarettes. We wouldn't eat the breakfast. Do not stay here

First, kind of off the beaten path, next to an abandoned house. Overall looks old, rundown like franchisee lacks pride of ownership. Bathroom doesn't lock, laminate peeling off door. Old water damage stain on shower ceiling. Shower fixture old. Shower curtain rod coming off wall. Toilet seat loose, should have been noticed by housekeeping and fixed. Laminate peeling off room door. Floor sticky. Musty smell. Fussy remote. "Continental breakfast", apple.or orange juice, waffles on old style wafflemaker. English muffins or bagels in one of two Black and Decker two slice toasters. Stay here only if you have no better options.

the bathrooms could use a deep cleaning, under beds and hallways could use a GOOD vacuuming job. Tina from housing keeping was VERY GOOD. The Breakfast was not that great as there was no timer on the waffle maker and VERY limited tof what to eat. Are 1st room (239) a light was unplug and as my wife plugged it in all the electric in the room was gone the 2nd room under the bed was very dirty.

Just ok. Stayed one night needed a place to sleep. Will not stay again. The hotel Is dated no elevator. The carper going up the stairs dirty. Initially thought the room was ok but as the night went on realized the floor wasn’t clean. Found paper from another guest between bed and nightstand. There was a rag around shower head to hold water spraying from it. Tub not clean. Upon checking out went to leave room keys the young girl at desk never acknowledged us. Barely looked up. Like i said needed a night to sleep will not stay here again and will not recommend.

The one point comes from the friendly staff. Thank you for your friendly service. The place was also easy to find and good parking places in front of the hotel. The place itself was unfortenately a disaster. Not a calm night, when drunk people are screaming through the night. The rooms were not clean at all. The indoor air quality was a politely said poor. All in all - not a family place. We skipped the free breakfest, so can’t comment on that. We didn’t feel safe during our stay to be honest. However If you need a low cost bachelor party motel, where to party and sleep for couple of hours - go for it.

A notch above other Red Roof inns, which have often been going downhill. Quiet location away from the freeway, but with lots of restaurants in the area. Breakfast, including waffles, which most Red Roofs do not have. The room was clean, and everything worked fine. Friendly employees.

Honestly, my husband and I had pretty much stopped booking at Red Roof. We were running into dirty rooms, no towels, no soap, uncomfortable beds, etc. An electrical issue in our home forced us to spend two nights at this location. We were pleasantly surprised. The room was clean, everything that should be there was there, the bed was really comfortable, and the staff was so friendly! While I’m not sure we’ll still patronize other locations, this is a very nice place to stay.

Staff was wonderful!!! However, the bathrooms were very small, the phone was broken, the tub did not drain properly, and the ice machine never had enough ice. I wish I had a room on the 2nd floor because there were too many barking dogs and one dog was lose and running around the main floor. Breakfast was mainly carbs....breads, make your own waffles. Nothing healthy other than granny smith apples which were there for a while.
